welcome to wendover, massachusetts - a small town slightly west of salem, with just as much history of witchcraft as it's sister town
wendover is a weird little town with even weirder people. that's not a bad thing, though. wendover is quite the joyful place. it just means that most people who live here are a little different. you thought all witches come from salem? think again
if you know where to look for it, there is magick all around town. small new age shops that sell crystals and tarot decks, psychics that seem to be able to predict the future to a scary degree, cats roaming the streets, offerings left at public altars, sigils painted or graffitied on allyway walls, a graveyard that feels a bit too hanuted. the forest of wendover feels alive, and if you are inexperienced, you can easily get lost between the trees and the trails.
perhaps the most stricing place is the academy. the academy is a school in wendover for teen witches seeking to grow and learn about the craft. students learn how to feel magic, connect to nature, cast spells and hexes, how to foretell the future and what herbs and crystals are best used if you want to quickly heal a cold. advanced students even learn how to astral project, become psychics and mediums and even how to shift realities.
it might not be halloween every day, but in wendover? every day is magic; every day is slightly haunted
