exercising and weight training can be a powerful form of feminist praxis. being able to assist other women, particularly our disabled sisters, is a powerful ability. similarly, we can work together to challenge patriarchal expectations surrounding the physical strength of women and encourage future generations of women and girls to view strength as something to be proud of. most importantly, in a patriarchal world where women's health is often tossed aside, it's crucial that we take care of our minds and bodies and refuse to sacrifice our health in the name of patriarchy!

please know that i am not an athletic trainer or dietician. i am a professional coach for youth and adult sports. i teach strength training to my athletes as well as conditioning/training for other athletic orgs near me. if you decide to work with a trainer and/or dietician and their advice conflicts with mine, take theirs! (and also maybe tell me so i can improve for my students!) i follow all of my own advice, but those guys have degrees in this stuff and i do not.

Sex isn't a personality type, it's basic health information. People can and will die if doctors don't have access to this information for their patients. This makes as much sense as letting people change what their blood type is because they don't identify as their actual blood type.

This is something I have noticed across the political spectrum in sapphic, feminist, and queer community where people will seemingly put bi women in whatever is negative right now. everything is blamed on us and when that action is no longer seen as politically rotten, it is then switched up and now we are actually the exact opposite. we never just are human. we have to be everything another person deems as bad and somehow meet their demands...which is why I encourage bi women to think for themselves and not go with whatever bimisogynistic jargon people are trying to place on you. you are an individual and you deserve the right to reflect on yourself as one without someone holding you responsible for every generalization and belief they have come to.

for example, here are some attitude shifts that I have seen:

dating only masculine women and referring to them as your boyfriend is mainly bisexual woman thing that should be condemened...now it's butchfemme lesbian culture that no nonlesbian can understand.

pillow princess was explicitly used to insult queer women by implying certain women were actually bisexual, not lesbians, for not performing sexual acts (because bisexual women are seen as a lesser form of queer compared to lesbians)...now pillow princess is a lesbian exclusive term that defies heteronormativity.

before it's bi women all love masculine women...now it's bi women are the main ones calling mascs and butches ugly on tiktok.

before it's bi women forcing everyone to be fluid and like men...now it's bi women are evil for suggesting you're monosexual or how it is all actually nonlesbians who are policing lesbians for liking fictional men (which liking fictional men is an example of how sexuality does not have to stay restrictive and apply to reality).

before it's terfs croaking about how no bi woman can ever be decentering men or be a feminist...now it's all terfs are actually mostly straight and bi women with rarely any lesbians

before it's bi women are aiding trans people in spreading their evil agenda...now it's all bi women are evil and transphobic towards trans people.
