How do you guys like the new Modest Mouse album so far? This is my favorite track so far, but there are a few others gaining popularity on my ipod.

Seriously though.

I first fell in love with this band after hearing their album, A Stone, A Leaf, an Unfound Door,....and their latest Ep, is just as good as the album. If you’ve never heard these guys, do yourself a favor, buy some tunes, go to a show, be happy. :)

I bought this for my nephews first birthday a few years ago, and uh,..shortly after got a copy for yours truly. Haha

It’s pretty awesome to go to sleep to. just sayin’.

My sisters been jawing at me for quite a while to give Holy Esque a listen, and while she has impeccable music taste, I just never got around to it until recently.

I really like this track, and I also downloaded Silences and it was good too.

So, this almost seems sacrilegious to say, but is anyone else slightly disappointed in this new TMOE track?

Is voice is still great and awesome but the instrumentation just sounds way too smooth and polished. I’m sure it will grow on me, but still, hope the rest of the album is more true to his style.

So, every once in a while I get completely burnt out on music, which is kind of a crazy idea because I am like one of the hugest music junkies of all time. I have the largest ipod they make and its effin full,......I know, I know first world problems.

A song has to be pretty good for me to recommend to certain friends of mine, otherwise I will be shamed and ridiculed to no end, or at least receive a biting, snide comment. I obviously don't need such comments, so I choose my recommendations carefully, cautiously and wisely. I've yet to hear back on this recommendation.
