What Was She Thinking? Buffy, next time you are stuck in a rut, DO NOT LET XANDER PICK OUT YOUR OUTFITS. Let's find the common ground between Watchtower and Slut, and it's not 'My sled dogs are parked out back.'

What Would Buffy Wear: Chilly, darling? A fuzzy tiger print coat, hood and sassy expression included.

What Would Buffy Wear: Did someone say MINI DRESS AND LEATHER BOOTS? A green patterned mod dress and high pony, Buffy S1 in a nutshell.

What Would Buffy Wear: A soft pink cardigan and white tank top. So sweet! OH, and HIGH PONY.

What Was She Thinking? Yellow pants. That is all.

What Would Buffy Wear: On a First Date? A pretty gold minidress (probably with leather boots...BOOTS ASSUMED). Much better attire for the Bronze, Buffy!

What Would Buffy Wear: to the Zoo? Looks like our Slayer was trying to become one with her surroundings in this cord/suede/velour I’m-not-sure-what-kind of fabric it is but it’s orange and it's a jacket. Paired with a green animal print minidress (a little on the nose, but we appreciate a theme), leather boots and scarf, she kind of looks like the 70’s kicked her out for being too tacky. But with a high pony, oddly enough she pulls it all off. RAWR.

But she’s the slayer. She do what she want.

What Would Buffy Wear?: A pretty purple suede (or cord, can’t tell from here) jacket!

An adorable pink silk, Cheongsam inspired style mini skirt (WITH BOOTS) and a funky black burlesque girl tshirt! Complete with black beanie and cute beaded necklace, this is one of those spunky looks that Buffy pulls off every once and a while. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT: In the interest of transparency, the original post for this look described Buffy’s skirt as “Oriental”. This was back in early 2011 which, while not that long ago, was for me the start of my 20s and before I really had an idea about the power of language and cultural sensitivity. It seemed appropriate at the time, and while I meant no disrespect I am embarrassed now to have used that descriptor. So I am changing it to reflect the proper garment I meant to reference! Normalize learning new information and changing your stance on things, it’s how we grow. Also, this is 100% still an outfit I would rock, even 10 years later.

Buffy has a knack for procuring adorable pajamas. I find this little hearts tank fitting as it’s Valentines Day! And obviously, a high pony to boot. This is peak SMG at her cutest, I’d say.
