These aren't just sunglasses; they are a literal windshield for your face, presumably designed to protect the wearer from the sheer, unbridled intensity of leaded gasoline fumes and late 60s cynicism. She looks like she’s just touched down her lunar module on 5th Avenue and is deeply offended that the "Moon People" of Manhattan haven't yet mastered the art of the calorie-free martini. It’s the ultimate "I’m from the year 2000 and I’ve come to tell you that everything is neon" look, except, you know, with more grain and significantly less Wi-Fi. If you aren't wearing eyewear that doubles as a riot shield, are you even truly perceiving the zeitgeist?
