The success to any great BIM environment in a company along with its implementation protocols and the skills of its team, is the organisation and depth of its content library.

A library is the one key factor in creating true BIM, the model is only ever as good as the data put into it......put sh** in, get sh** out basically. The task of keeping all models up to date with current manufacturing data and specifications would be impossible, we will only ever have our most used ventilation specifications and preferred supplier of lights but sometimes alternatives are needed.

The success comes from this...... As long as the models are there the hard work is already done, we can always add more data. There will never be a time where a content library is complete, the success and depth is the amount of data we add to existing models or duplicating models to develop new content.
