One more thing...we plucked these from Dailymotion. Sorry about the awkward commercial breaks...
WInk Martindale on Thom McKee, Tic Tac Dough’s biggest winner
TV presenter Ant McPartlin has been fined £86,000 after admitting driving while more than twice the legal alcohol limit. The 42-year-old pleaded guilty to drink-driving after his black Mini collided with two other cars in Richmond, west London on March 18. He has also been banned from driving for 20 months. District Judge Barbara Barnes told McPartlin, "At the time when it happened you were struggling with various personal problems and also alcohol issues for some months. "This incident happened, sadly, when it seems you suffered a brief relapse... I think it will have quite an impact on you to know you're no longer a man of good character." The court heard that in a statement to police McPartlin said: "I am very sorry I did this. I am ashamed and mortified that this happened... I accept full culpability for this and wish to apologise to all those concerned."

Nanette Fabray, 97
As you may know, screen start and frequent gameshow guest Nanette Fabray passed away Feb. 23 at the age of 97. We honor Ms. Fabray by posting this appearance on the Tattletales precursor, He Said, She Said.
Also appearing with Nanette and her husband were actress Lois Nettleton and, in a Flying Nun reunion of sorts, Sally Feild and Alejandro Rey, along with their spouses.
I found this little gem and I never thought it existed. This is the flash version of The Big Showdown's bonus game. The Ron Greenberg-produced show ran from the day before Christmas Eve 1974 to the 4th of July the following year. Though it is famous for host Jim Peck's spectacular fall down from a flight at the beginning of an episode, there's a pretty nifty game here just ripe for syndication (are you listening NBC? You own the rights, after all...I think) The rules of the bonus game are simple. The 6's are covered on a set of dice by the words SHOW and DOWN. Roll SHOW DOWN once and you win the Big Money. If not, say you roll 7, you have 30 seconds to roll the dice as many times as you can. Roll SHOW DOWN at any time during that you win a small jackpot. Also, if you roll that 7, you get $$$ for every 7 you roll, plus 5 bonus seconds to roll for SHOW DOWN at the end. It all becomes explanatory when you play. The jackpots are big for 1974. If I were running the show today, that Show Down roll would be worth $50K, plus an additional $5K every day it's not hit. The 2nd Jackpot would be worth a permanent $25K, and Payoff Points for $1K each, Tell me what you think. Enjoy, Thirty seconds, a target number, and a pair of dice. The more you roll your target number, the more money you made - but if you roll SHOW DOWN - you win the jackpot!

Rest In Peace, Bruce Forsyth
Things that are unexpectedly really interesting. Pay close attention to the "bonus" after the boat...
The Gleason Mea Culpa (1961)
Once upon a time, about 1961, CBS decided to do a gameshow called You’re in the Picture. It sucked. The host was Jackie Gleason. Now if you are a student of TV, you know what happened the next week, but you probably never saw the exact...well whatever they called it.
So first, we have Gleason explaining the rules. Then we have Gleason...well, a lot of producers, politicians, and ex-girlfriends could learn from this.
By the way, the show was poduced by Don Lipp and Bob Synes. Lipp went on to produce ABC’s The Moneymaze. Synes went to work for Monty Hall, producing the classic Split Second.
The Isreali guys behind the disaster that was Who's Still Standing have come up with a new show called Babushka. The game's explained in the sizzle reel here. The two reasons you will see it in America: One, it just replaced the UK version of The Chase for four weeks and, two, Ryan Seacrest just optioned it for development. Good luck.
NBC has greenlighted an American pilot based on this show, No host has been announced for the proposed US version

The Boss (BBC) This could be an interesting game show for American prime time. I'd get a person who had played a boss on TV (John O'Hurley is the first person to come to mind) I also would up the money (x $1000 for GSN, x$10000 for network prime). Game play is good and easy to follow, once you get past things that were UK-specific.
