The most popular indie cartoon has a mentally ill character who is EXPLICITLY mentally ill, straight up saying she experiences manic episodes, whose mental health effects her extremely strongly while not being all she is. And the show pairs her up with a canonically genderqueer character who uses they/them only and candidly discusses their gender dysphoria and their inability to find something that fits them, before they realize being okay with not finding one solid thing that fits is fine. And there's enough subtext that it's a genuine theory-- not just a headcanon, not just an analysis, a theory-- that the most popular character in the show is a closeted trans woman. And the main villain is an AI with biblical inspiration who is desperate for love and attention and is deeply sympathetic while being nonetheless abusive as hell. I could go on.

And the show has some of the funniest goddamn jokes I've ever seen, gorgeous music, fantastic voice actors who are firing on all cylinders at all times, and dialogue so realistic and so good at conveying information it blows my fucking mind. The show actually fucking trusts the audience to put together information-- there's no handholding whatsoever, very few exposition dumps unless necessary. It shows you everything and trusts you to put the pieces together, trusts you on a level I have never in my life seen from a show before. And the show constantly shows you how being hurt is never a justification for hurting people, and the harm you've caused doesn't erase the harm you've gone through and need to heal from. And the messages the show gives are incredibly emotionally mature and still hopeful, being completely frank about how things are kind of hopeless, while still saying "You SHOULD still hope, hold onto the people around you. You have to keep living and caring for others, no matter what."

1: The circus members are brain scans, this folder might be the abstracted members. CA_NeuralScans (Obsolete)

2: 'Abel' did exist, and the circles at the beginning of the episode were most likely Caine killing 'Abel'.

3: The circus was created on October 30th, 1996. Kinger's password is Queenie, and this confirms again that Kinger was his username.

4: Ragatha entered the circus on October 15th 2008, Scratch entered the same day but in 1999, and Caine in 1996. Interestingly enough, he is written in LISP, which has links to AutoCAD the modeling software.

5: Not much to actually say here, Caine's internals are protected by both him and bubble.

6: Assuming the GreenGrounds is the circus, Kinger was likely trying to inject the torment program (what the circus members are being tortured with??) with a daemon (automated process) in order to stop it.
