Energy Work: Energy Types and Sources
Independent Energy
Independent energy is a type of energy that never loses it’s charge or can recharge on its own with little to no help from outside sources.
Personal energy is the energy that your body makes by itself. It is most commonly recharged by sleeping and calorie consumption and can be easily used as a source in most aspects of witchcraft.
Organic energy is derived from life. This includes humans, plants, animals, and some entities. These can be used as sources. Personal energy falls under this category but is distinguished for crafting purposes.
Rooted energy is the most common source to recharge from and it has a substantial or near unlimited amount of energy. This includes planetary bodies, the elements, and the weather.
Artistic energy is a non-sentient type of energy created by an artist. Despite being able to affect the emotions of those who view or listen to it, the energy itself is trapped within the original product. This energy can be duplicated and used as a source for other creations and magical purposes. This includes things like music, paintings, movies, or stories.
Dependent Energy
Dependent energy is energy that depends on other sources of energy to prevent becoming stagnant with usage over time.
Natural energy is stored in objects not created by humans. It is limited as a source and has to be recharged to keep its individual characteristics. This includes things like crystals, stones, and dead matter.
Manufactured energy is stored in objects created by humans. This includes things like paper, clothing, and machines.
Spiritual energy is created from organic energy sources or nature itself. They heavily depend on other sources of energy in order to maintain themselves. This includes once-living spirits, thoughtforms, and nature spirits.
Programmed energy is a non-sentient energy that is created for a purpose. It can be crafted from any energy source and needs to be recharged in order to continue doing its duty. It can be a free-flowing energy or it can be stored in a vessel. This includes things like spells, curses, and enchantments.
Emotional energy is a non-sentient type of energy created by emotions, thoughts, and words. If fed into, it can turn into an energy parasite. If not fed into, it will neutralize. It can permeate into the world around it or stick to its creator.
Parasitic energy is a non-sentient type of energy and is generally an outcome of sustained emotional energy. It feeds on and encourages the original emotions it stems from and is stuck to a host.
Consumable energy is a non-sentient energy source that is stored in food products. This includes things like harvestable food and crafted food.
My newest gardening adventure. This is the big one people! I’ve never grown before so I’m extremely excited to get started! Any tips and tricks would seriously seriously be appreciated.
Not doing so bad ;)
Since prickly pear has been out in summer sun, he's slowly making my trim job redundant. I love summer.
I just want everyone to see all the new growth in my garden. My cucumbers have TONS of little flowers on it, some with and without baby cucumbers. My Pink Ellegance lavendula has officially opened up some flowers and I’m so excited.
So UPDATE!
My cucumber plant is giving off so much vegetables. Mg tumbling Tom’s have been producing cherry tomatoes like crazy.. And my tomato plant is 3 feet tall. I’m so happy 💚💚
Oh and check this lavender now
EXPLOSIVE 🌿🌿

🌼 Essential and Carrier Oils for hair
Im dying my hair soon and i think its gonna die *pun intended* so i was researching benefits of oils to the hair and thought I’ll share :)
Essential oils are distilled from the plant itself. They have the signature scent of the plant they came from. And they’re highly concentrated. For instance, it takes 220 pounds of lavender flowers to make a single pound of lavender oil.
Carrier oils (such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, and olive oil) also come from plants, but they have a more neutral smell. And they’re not necessarily distilled down like essential oils are.
Here are the benefits of some essential and carrier oils:
🌼 Almond oil soothes and moisturizes the scalp.
🌼 Cedarwood oil stimulates the scalp and promotes hair growth.
🌼 Chamomile oil adds shine and softness to hair, and soothes the scalp.
🌼 Clary sage oil promotes hair growth and stimulates the scalp.
🌼 Coconut oil softens hair and increases shine.
🌼 Geranium oil strengthens hair.
🌼 Jojoba oil moisturizes the hair, adds nutrients, and stimulates the scalp.
🌼 Lavender oil deep conditions the hair, keeps it shiny, and helps control dandruff.
🌼 Moroccan argan oil moisturizes, nourishes, and provides antioxidants to hair.
🌼 Rosemary oil stimulates the roots, improves hair growth, and increases circulation in the scalp.
🌼 Sandalwood oil helps with dry ends, and adds fragrance to the hair.

Remember to use these oils sparingly and research them some more before using. If you take all the precautions and experience rash or allergic reactions, stop immediately. Other than that, enjoy your healthy hair! >-<

honey bee body language guide
a quick reference for understanding honey bees !!!
🐝 approaching you
🌱 they want to know if you’re a flower, a threat, or neither ! don’t swat or get too close to their hive, and you’re not a threat.
🐝 landing on you (often you can see her cleaning herself, if you watch carefully)
🌱 she’s either tired or, on the rare occasion, deciding to sting you. don’t squish her !!! she’s probably just chillin with you, but if you want her off, blow her off. she’ll fall and fly away !
🐝 buzzing becomes high pitched
🌱 think angry bees in a cartoon. you can actually hear the change ! this means they’re getting agitated
🐝 circling your head
🌱 this is a warning that you’re being threatening and you need to leave ! calmly move away from the hive or the bee.
🐝 if you’re close to the hive: sending significantly more bees into the air
🌱 usually means they either want to know what’s happening or there’s a threat to the hive ! you should probably leave.
🐝 divebombing you in a headbutt, bouncing off
🌱 this is the most explicit “if you do not leave, i will sting you” that honey bees have. it’s the last warning !
💞some extras !💞
🐝 laying on the sidewalk
🌱 if she’s alive, she’s either resting or in trouble. she could be diseased or usually, in winter, too cold. some folks feed them honey or sugar water ! i’ve had a few good experiences in just letting them sit on my hand and warm up for a while before she flies off. if not, i leave her somewhere she won’t be stepped on. if you’re afraid to touch a bee but still wanna help, try getting her somewhere safer with a leaf or something ! if it doesn’t work, don’t feel too guilty. they’re like cells in an organism, some are always going to be dying as new ones are being born.
🐝 a BUNCH of bees clumped onto something or flying in a slow cloud
🌱 more than likely a swarm ! bees “swarm” when their hive is big and healthy enough to branch off into two hives, or when they’re moving houses ! you’ll never find a honey bee in a better mood than when they’re swarming. observe them from a safe distance, it’s super cool !
🐝 moving her front legs from her mouth over her face
🌱 she’s cleaning herself ! just like how cats do !
🐝 moving a leg from her mouth to her rear leg
🌱 she’s packing pollen ! she wets it with her mouth and then packs it into her pollen sac, which is basically just hairs on her leg shaped into a basket ! that’s why you see the yellow / orange dots on their back legs. they’re bringing it back to the hive !
🐝 dragging another bee out of the hive
🌱 they’re either moving a corpse or a diseased or malformed bee that will die soon. think of it like your body flushing out bad stuff– the bees are like cells of an organism, working toward the whole.
🐝 standing away from her hive on the landing pad, beating her wings
🌱 she’s fanning the hive !! this keeps the brood and honey at a safe temperature.
💞 feel free to add on or ask about more !! 💞
Front entryway crew as of 24 April 2019. I expect some shifting as it gets warmer and various plants get bigger pots. The orchids are a hot mess right now, and I want to move them all to clay pebble media when I get a chance. The begonias are doing great, minus sunburn here and there. It’s rainy and overcast, and that is the perfect conditions in which to see the blue iridescence of Begonia pavonina and U485 with the naked eye.
Familiar and my favourite little herb garden. They so loved.
Life prevails.

Look at my super sleepy boy 😍
Spontaneous tree planting! I picked up some nursery stock from work that they were just going to throw away! Why? Because they were ugly. Naturally I scooped them up. The first is a Dwarf Korean Lilac Tree! Right in front of the kitchen window for his sweet smells.
He's not ugly in my book. And soon enough he'll be massive and gorgeous. I win.
Next is was the Carmine Jewel, Dwarf Sour Cherry (Prunus x. Kerrasis). A little cherry bush!
And finally the Bluecrop highbush blueberries! I wanna cry they so cute. I hope they all love their new little spots. I loveeeeee
