i don’t gaze at scully

This is not a fandom post, but an important post. It’s important for one of my best friends’ family. I am here today to ask for help. Those of you who can, please, consider donating, and those of you who can’t, please, spread the word.

My friend’s parents have been working so hard on creating an ecological farm that will not have any environmental impact. Their farm will host both gooses and chickens; they will be living outdoors, in the yard, but they will also have a shed to be protected from predators during the nights. And, last but not least, they will only sell the eggs, never the meat. 

So this is an environmentally respectful project that respects animal lives. They believe, and I want to believe with them, that such a project can change a little bit this capitalism-centered world. A small family farm with free animals, only commercializing their eggs.

This is such a beautiful project that I’m heartbroken, because they don’t have the money the need to build all the infrastructure. They have the idea, the knowledge, the strength to build all that, but they need help to start.
