okay so as mentioned in my bakugo lore dump, the bullying he faced from bakugo was much more violent than it was in canon, leading him to get half his face exploded and giving him a sick ass huge ass scar on the. right? yeah, the right- the right side of his face. though a big difference between him in canon and him in my version of canon is that he did in fact have a quirk but it was stolen from him (like in all the theories). this version of midoriya was the original user of the quirk 'decay' but it was stolen from him and given to a much younger shigaraki- 'oh but- but webby!!! shigaraki being older is pivotal to everything!!!' yes it is. im aware. but have you ever thought that maybe ill cross that road when it comes to it? damn. let a girl retcon in peace. this version of midoriya also doesnt go by deku in his hero identity because. that. is. stupid!!!! 'oh a cute girl called me deku once, everythings solved' kill yourself deku- instead, he goes by dustbunny as a pun on knuckledusters, decay and bunnys due to his association with rabbits, though in this version it is because his favourite hero is in fact. not all might. his favourite hero is every hero because every hero gives him something to learn from- with his favourite to *study* and *emulate* being mirko (name subject to change in future). which means instead of having a room filled with just all might, he has a room filled with many heroes merchandise, only rivaling his popstep merch collection. yes you heard me loud and clear, he is a popstep stan. his outfits would usually consist of hero merchandise, half of them just being popstep centric, but would still have a drawer dedicated to entirely all might hoodies. another change!! his love interest!! its no longer uraraka!! because she always fit toga better anyway and i dont like how wooden she became later on in the story!! his new love interest is mina ashido, a girl who he met at his lowest when he was a child (the face explosion incident) 'oh what do you mean he walked that off', i mean that he walked it off and ran away because lets be honest with ourselves here, thats what he usually does in the show anyway. this is not unrealistic. especially given the new durability and strength that he would naturally have with a body built to utilise decay. he met mina ashido at his lowest, a point where he had given into the bullying and no longer wanted to be a hero, with kid!mina telling him that he could one day be a hero despite being seemingly quirkless, and then never seeing him again until highschool. and another change!! this version of midoriya would eventually become the vigilante 'mastermind' in his younger teenage years!! before he got one for all!! in which he utilises his intelligence and technology skills in placement of a quirk, setting him up to later on make the grenades seen in his character reference- each grenade mimics a different quirk, and whilst they arent his only gadgets, they are the ones that need an explanation. the one he is holding is a smoke grenade, used in placement of his in-canon smokescreen quirk because i think giving deku a hundred different quirks was a bad direction to take his character. the one with v shaped goggles is a grenade filled with combustible paint that can be used in junction with bakugos explosions, or in junction with todorokis flames to create explosions when bakugo isnt present or can just be lit up with a lighter if need be. the grenade with glasses is in fact a cryogenic grenade, covering surfaces (and people) in ice on impact, making them more brittle. and the one with one eye is an acid grenade, its filled with acid and should one be used against either really tough opponents or on solid ground that explosions would weaken the infrastructure of. i have many more quirk-like gadgets in mind for him in future, the grenades are just the only ones that i have featured.
