-Red honestly never understood romance or strong attachments of any type. It always baffled and even annoyed him how much Melissa loved Zachary and how often she'd hang out with him
Which... why him? There's nothing special or anything about him
-Red's really confused when he figures out that he actually likes Sol more than he thought. He'd started to think maybe he was getting an obsession or something... he's really angry at himself when he pieces it all together
-After that, he tries to stay away from Solomon and act like he still hates his guts and never cared about him one bit. That doesn't work for very long
-He's actually really embarrassed with how much he actually likes him. He sometimes thinks that being so attached to another kaiju like this shows weakness. It takes a while to try and unlearn that
-Red's idea of gifts (or 'offerings' as he calls them) at first are things that he'd like. So he goes out hunting early, rips the meat from his prey, and puts said meat near Solomon's cave. He likes sharing food
-After that, he tries flowers- as many as he can find. Others like flowers, right..? Then he digs around streams for shiny rocks to give as well. If he finds a small gemstone during the search, you bet that's the next gift!
-Red has no idea how to 'flirt' , so every try at it sounds like a really awkward compliment. Some of them are actually good when he isn't embarrassed. However, he gets easily flustered when anyone flirts back
What. No, you're not supposed to do that-
-Absolutely loves it when others make food for him. He loves it even more when the food is so good, he almost regrets devouring it all at once. He will love you forever if you give him snacks and chill with him
-Is an absolute cuddle bug with Solomon and purrs very loudly when Sol hugs him. His underside is the most sensitive section of him, and is very warm from his Hellfire. Which makes the hugs better
If anyone else tries to hug him, he'll hiss at them.
-Really likes it when Sol helps clean the scales and plates along his back. He can't get the dirt underneath them, its annoying and it itches sometimes
-Shares his gorey horror movie collection with those he likes. The best nights ever are when he can eat a hundred snacks, be all cozy, watch some brutal deaths onscreen and laugh at them all.
-Doesn't know how to react at first when he gets gifts back. Food, he immediately devours. Flowers, he doesn't know what to do with, but likes them too much to say anything. Gaming stuff, on the other hand, he has a blast messing around with!
-Red's very standoff-ish when others are around him and Solomon. Being nice in public feels really weird to him... so he ends up creeping everyone out.
-Actually starts to overheat when he's flustered, and steam emits from the plates along his back. Really needs some water after this.
-Scares others on purpose just for fun if they're too annoying or rude to him. Especially if they fucking take his food-
-Silently judges others from high places
-In conclusion, Red's still as creepy as ever. Just that he's pretty soft around those he really likes, and doesn't know how to handle being loved sometimes. So he's awkward about it.
