Mothras side
red godzilla nes… drool dribbles down my chin and i start howling at the moon
a little collection of all of my recent design escapades!! ive been struggling to find one set way to draw him for literally years and im deciding to chronicle my current efforts to find something I’m comfortable with!
concept design for the big man!! ive still gotta tweak him for my final headcanon design but im making good progress! for his general build and mechanics i plan on taking inspiration from:
• tribal masks (face patterns)
• praying mantises
• spiders
• scorpions (mostly whip tail scorpions)
• xenomorphs (for his pharyngeal jaw)
• cats (behavior wise)
there are probably more but my brain is empty and all thats in there is that fuckin beast!!!!!!
some other designs + mechanics for his face, and of course the single line of dialogue that inspired the intricate markings
his face works very specifically and id love to explain it!!
here i have a diagram of what on his face serves what purpose. the large arches over his eyes serve as eyebrows, and the small spiral creases serve as lower eyelids.
the extra creases on his eyes point towards the lower eyelids when scrunched, but away from them when at rest. as for the eyebrows, the skin on the top of his head is pulled down when his eyebrows are furrowed, revealing more markings that curl around the back of his head.
originally i drew red with a sans-skull like head, and i might still refer to a general human skull shape when i get to the sides and back of his head during the final design process—mostly since i still really like that aspect of my older design for him. but still, progress is progress!
and of course, two little doodles!
quick lil NES godzilla to warm up a spare tablet i have layin around rn. Stuffs tough irl rn so i dont have my main set up currently.
Was re-reading the Godzilla nes creepypasta and liked this dudes design. (Also sorry for not posting more frequently)

"Not this time, asshole!"
My favorite Titan out of all of them is mothra I consider her the best in the Godzilla universe. What about you? Do you feel different?
Mothra is great! She’s so pretty and unique for a kaiju (at lease in the traditional sense), she’s def one of my favs (using Chibis for simplicity)
I’m also partial to Biollante cause there’s just something beautiful about her even if she’s a giant freaky plant monster
I’m also an unapologetic creepypasta fan (I had that phase when I was younger hehe) and Godzilla NES is one my all time fav creepypastas so I have a soft spot for Red
So Toby said Face from the Godzilla NES Creepypasta inspired Flowey, but has anyone actually pointed out that he likely also took inspiration for the Eram fight?
In the finale of Godzilla NES the mc gets to a battle with Red, the main antagonist of the story, who paralyzes them so the only things they can move are their eyes and their thumbs to play the game, and ontop of that when their game character gets hurt they get hurt in real life.
That's straight up just the Eram fight
