the guy who i liked is from canada and he’s sooooo nice. not only did he offer to and make me breakfast, but he let me try his ice cream one day, then the next, and then offered to buy me my own. i wanted to climb a tree so he climbed another one with me. we sat on his porch in his hammocks for hours. me him and another guy all watched a movie together sitting in bed. then one night we, me and canada boy, rescued a baby boa (snakes are his fave), then i noticed the stars so he asked if i wanted to walk up to the bench area and look at them. so we did and there were SO many stars out! We saw shooting stars while standing there. we also sat on the bench and watched this heat lighting happen in one gigantic cloud that was over the ocean. we were out there for at least 20 minutes watching the heat lighting and the stars. when we went back to our rooms, i thanked him for doing that and said i had a really nice time, he agreed. another time, the pure excitement in his voice when i started to sing along to a song he was surprised i knew my heart melted. which, he had a great taste in music. when he left, i told him i was going to miss him and that i don’t want to meet new people, and he looked at me with this grin on his face and asked, “but you enjoyed meeting us?” and i said yes and he said something like to give it a try bc i would never know. that made me give him this from right back.

go to my goodbye party when my two guy friends are gone and i drank for the first time, as in i was intoxicated. in our group chat canada boy told me to finish the 6 pack and i replied “only for you” and then he mentioned that he could see 25 stars and i said “remember when we saw the shooting stars? that was cool and beautiful” and he replied “yeah it was” and although we were super cool and had fun i was in a relationship (broke up with him when i got back home) and i’m just mad that i could’ve had a summer romance and now i’ll probably never get that opportunity again and that i was also dumb and intoxicated lol but that’s my summer romance story without the romance
