Most, almost all Sun variations are EXTREMELY proud of their rays. Seriously “nice rays” is the compliment of all time
Even Eclipse variations display a trait like this. They may not be AS obsessed with the way their rays look but they do still act in a fussy manor over them and like being complimented on them.
The rays are a ‘you can look but you can’t touch’ kind of thing. They like it when people stare at the rays but touching them? Thats a no no! They are delicate and easily breakable so they don’t want people touching or pulling on them. The rays serve no purpose other than to portray emotion and display vanity, thats it
