I haven’t felt this way about someone in a really long time and knowing I hurt them is killing me

It’s hard to feel like you’re enough in this world when for so long someone made you feel like you weren’t , everything they did just over and over made you feel like what the heck why don’t u just wanna be with me why isn’t that enough why is it that I do all these things to show U and that still isn’t enough when will it be enough

I’m just so tired of being everyone’s last resort , it’s so exhausting I just wanna be someone’s first choice just one time!! For years all I’ve ever been is just okay for everyone I’ve never been someone’s everything before and I’m tired of not being good enough because I’ve had someone who was my everything and the love I gave them was so fucking big and why don’t I deserve that

You were the first person to show me that I was never anyones first choice and I don’t know if I ever will be now

It’s so hard to forgive the person who hurt you when you keep living with the collateral damage , I’m so fucked up by you that it still affects me every single day
