Oohhhh Caine would've CRIED watching Código Lyoko.
Yk Code Lyoko? The series from 2003 in which a bunch of high schoolers found an abandoned mega pc in an abandoned building?
That had capsules in a room near the "brain" of the computer that you could step into and get materialised into a digital world called Lyoko?
That once they go into the capsules they get different bodies with assigned characteristics to their personalities, and have dangerous adventures in a digital world and meet a digital person that helps and guides them?
And they manage to get that digital person a real body and get her into the real world with them? Refusing to abandon her?
Yeah, Caine would've abstract watching this one
Ohhh Código Lyoko. I wish this series had been a part of my childhood.
I once saw 5 minutes of it while putting on a random channel on TV as a kid, and then I had to leave for dinner. It was the weirdest thing I had ever seen in my life. It felt like a hallucination. But I remembered the name for years, heard kids in my school talking about it. But I never watched it again.
I should get into it. Could be cool.
Honestly, super dark for a kid show. They repeatedly almost died.
I wonder if Caine would really understand the stakes. To him, in his world, “dying” just means resetting your body.
The significance of that happening IN the real world might escape him
