I feel like whenever I do these kind of tags, my lists always consist of the same BLs. I guess my favourite shows are my favourites for a reason tlqkfㅋㅋ I still wanted to do this one since I love kissing scenes (who doesn't?). Here's my top 10 most unforgettable kisses in no particular order.

We Best Love: No. 1 For You

The kiss was a little messy, but so deeply heartfelt—and undeniably sexy. The way Zhou Shu Yi claimed his man in that moment was electric. It will always be one of my all-time favourite scenes.

Blueming

This kiss was just so beautiful—what can I even say? Daun, lost in thoughts of Siwon, so clearly longing for reassurance. I can still remember that moment so vividly: when Siwon softly whispered, “I like you too,” and then pulled him into the most tender yet passionate kiss. It was intimate, emotional, and absolutely unforgettable.

I Feel You Linger in the Air

Intensely intimate. Heartbreakingly devastating. Yai and Jom making love for the last time—both of them in tears as they kiss and held each other. The raw emotion and fragile beauty of that scene will forever be etched in my heart. It was captured and performed so beautifully, with a tenderness that made every second feel achingly real.

Kill to Love

All the angst and heartbreak aside—the fact that we actually got an ancient gay wedding and a kiss in a CBL?? That alone feels monumental. Honestly, every one of their kisses was unforgettable, but I had to choose this one. On their wedding night, the first cup was offered to heaven and earth. The second to the mountains and rivers. The third and final cup was for THEM. And then they sealed their vows with the most tender kiss, as they became husbands. It was soft, sacred, and deeply meaningful—a moment that felt both historic and intensely personal.

HIStory3: Make Our Days Count

Not much even needs to be said. Xiang Hao Ting sitting on Yu Xi Gu’s lap, his back arched—that visual alone was unforgettable. It’s such a rare and refreshing sight to see the top in that position, and it made the moment feel even more iconic. And the kiss? Intense, and impossibly hot.

ABO Desire

My ULT couple—I’m completely biased. I’ll never do a tag game without them, ctfu. For a CBL, HuaSheng actually had a lot of kissing scenes, but this one stands out for so many reasons. Watching the once-undefeatable Enigma practically beg his Alpha, with the softest, most desperate puppy eyes—“I’ll spend my whole life repaying you. Please give me another chance? Pleaseee.”—was everything. And then the way Hua Yong pulled Sheng Shaoyou in for that passionate, almost demanding kiss? My gosh. Even though Shaoyou was hesitant at first, seeing him slowly give in and melt into one of their most intense kisses of the entire series made the moment unforgettable.

Ball Boy Tactics

I had to mention these two—and one of the longest make-out scenes in KBL history. I loved everything about it. The tension, the chemistry, the passion—you could feel it all through the screen. It was so beautiful and tender, yet undeniably hot at the same time. The acting was incredible, and the directing made the entire moment hit even harder. The whole scene was unforgettable, but I chose this particular shot because tell me why sharing saliva like that feels like the most intimate thing ever? It’s intense, vulnerable, and consuming all at once. I truly cannot...

Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island

I still remember the first time I watched this scene. To me, the entire series remains one of the most unforgettable shows I’ve ever watched. I know opinions are divided, but for me, it was nearly perfect. The stunning cinematography, the raw and realistic portrayal of young queer love, and the undeniable chemistry between these two made this little indie series feel incredibly special. Their first kiss will always be etched in my heart. The way Xiaozhi was crying into the kiss, as if he still couldn’t believe that after three years his feelings were finally being returned by Chen Li—it was so moving. And Chen Li softly repeating Xiaozhi’s name over and over, almost like he was grounding himself, making sure this wasn’t just another dream—it made the moment feel even more intimate and real. I love this scene so much. And the fact that we got three different versions of the same “first kiss”—the series version, the uncut version, and the movie version? I genuinely love every single one of them.

Me and Who

BigPark is, in my humble opinion, one of the best kissing pairs in Thai BL. I had to include this scene. I loved how Phopthorn used telepathy in the most charming way whenever he wanted something from Ya that he just couldn’t say out loud. This kiss was beautiful and incredibly sexy. Did I mention that they’re amazing kissers?

Miseinen: Our Youth

One of my absolute favourite JBLs—if not the favourite. I love the passion and the eagerness. They were both equally into the kiss—both of them clearly wanted it. But it was especially refreshing to see Jin being that proactive. I especially love how they were talking in between the kisses—it made the moment feel incredibly intimate. The flirting, the teasing, the eagerness… and yet there’s also this genuine tenderness underneath it all. “Don’t you like it?” “I don’t dislike it.” Ahhhh. So unbelievably good.

And sure, Zen won't just list out ten things he likes about Ryo because that is way too exposing, but it isn't like he doesn't expose himself at all. He is the one who took what I think is about a 3 hour train ride when Ryo said he wanted to see him. He is the one who finally made them really talk about their true feelings. He is the one who cried when he thought that Ryo might actually be still playing a game, when his own feelings had become real.

If you step back from all the obvious signs of insecurities from Ryo and just look at Zen's behavior, he's done nothing that anyone besides Ryo would find worrisome. He's always been extremely focused on work. He suggests their trip together. He is encouraging whenever they talk about it. Sure he doesn't tell Ryo he wants to see him too, but he does tell him that quiet time alone with Ryo is really all he wants.

But Ryo's desire for Zen has been building for so many years, the feelings of imagined rejection are embedded deep so he hasn't truly come to believe what is happening between them is real yet.

You dared to risk your life because your man’s going to dump you. How about this? If I help you with this, can we consider my debt paid? If you can prove it with evidence, I might consider forgiving your debt. Then don’t worry. Other people’s business is my area of expertise, Mr. Boiling Tofu. Just don’t be all bark and no bite. First of all, Kongdech's story hits incredibly close to home because I’ve known several people exactly like him: young men from marginalized, rural communities with very narrow horizons.

In 1990s Thailand, remote villages, particularly ethnic minority communities near the border regions (which I’m inferring from how far his parents had to travel) faced severe systemic hurdles. These included barriers to obtaining citizenship documents or national ID cards, extreme poverty, and acute geographic isolation from major hubs like Bangkok. Consequently, this resulted in minimal access to formal education, leaving them with virtually no path toward higher learning or professional careers.

So, based on what he tells Tanrak, it sounds like he's describing a community where basic rights and opportunities aren't guaranteed for everyone. A church scholarship wouldn't just mean religious training; it would also provide housing, education, social mobility, and a genuine path out of poverty. His mother's happiness might be less about "my son is going to be a priest" and more about "my son finally has a future."

Then there's the romance plot. If Tanrak chooses love and ends up with Barth, it strongly reminds me of a movie I watched a long time ago. I can't recall the exact line, but it was also a religious romance. The lead character asked something along the lines of, "Aren't you afraid I'll cheat on you? Because choosing you means I'm betraying God. If I'm not afraid of betraying God, why would I be afraid of betraying you?"

However, looking at TTH from a storytelling standpoint, there is an important nuance here: Tanrak’s ties to the church didn't begin as a matter of free, mature spiritual vocation. The pilot suggests that after losing his parents, he clung to the promise that good people go to heaven. Driven by a desire to see them again, he sought refuge, purpose, and hope within the church, making his ultimate ordination less about a pure calling and more about unresolved grief and longing. That's completely different from someone independently discovering a genuine calling to the priesthood after years of self-reflection. His motivation feels less like a true calling and more like a reaction to loss.

So if the story evolves into him realizing, "I do love God, but I never stopped to ask myself what I wanted," that would perfectly align with the reserved, emotionally repressed nature we've seen since his introduction. The central conflict seems less like "God versus love" and more like duty versus self-discovery, childhood promises versus adult choices, and the struggle between living for a memory versus claiming your own life.

Viewed through this lens, the story seems less interested in betrayal and more interested in whether his chosen path was ever truly a choice at all.

Barth, a young gay man whose estrangement from his faith stems from feeling rejected by religion, creates a fascinating contrast with his foil. While one boy believes deeply but has yet to truly know himself, the other possesses a profound self-awareness but struggles to find a place for belief. Their dynamic forces them to constantly challenge each other's underlying assumptions.

The fact that the show kicks off with news coverage of the 2025 marriage equality act before flashing back to 1996 is hardly a neutral choice. It strongly suggests that the writers want viewers to keep broader social change in mind as the story unfolds. It's a powerful way to remind the audience that the closeted, high-stakes world these boys are growing up in back in the nineties is vastly different from the world that exists today.
