!!! SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE !!!

Like my last post, I’m not a theory person, only one I’m particularly keen on is one I made which is Ralsei being a childhood drawing of Asriel, which will be delved into in this theory.

Asriel made The Roaring Knight and Ralsei. how? Let’s look at each character individually first.

Ralsei -

first off, the obvious, a goat, has fire magic like the Dreemurs, fluffy, and a prince, much like Asriel both as the flower prince in Deltarune and the underground’s prince in undertale. Even Asgore says during chapter 5 that he “looks like Asriel, but not completely like a monster.” of course, this is due to Ralsei being a darkener. However doesn’t explain the resemblance. This is where the “Ralsei is a childhood drawing of Asriel” comes into play. My theory is that someone close to Asriel, maybe Kris or Dess, made the drawing for him, which he cherished. It explains Ralsei’s bond with Kris and how he always wants them and Susie happy, something an older sibling tends to do with their younger sibling.

The Knight :

They link to Asriel in terms of their attacks and the sword. Most I will explain when we finally compare. Its final attack is akin to that of Asriels big attack with the goat blaster, the usage of stars and Antlers. “Antlers?” Yes, they still relate. The picture book showing branches being put on snowmen. While yes, at an obvious glance, it’s probably arms, horns couldn’t be too far fetched either. Like antlers.

Parallels and similarities?

Asriel used to play as a sword magician, said during chapter 3. Ralsei is the magician. The knight is the sword. Both have unlimited power at their hands, judging by the roaring knight’s capabilities and dialogue between flowery and Ralsei. However Ralsei plays by the rules and restrains himself for the prophecy, refraining from making dark fountains out of fear however Flowery suggests he has a secret of his own regarding them. What if Ralsei created the dark world in the closet? Despite being an item, or perhaps something else, if he had enough intent and something sharp, he can do it. Or rather in this case the knight can. The knight and Kris’s dark worlds have the same colour sprites, unlike susies, meaning different people make different dark worlds, however Asriel and Kris are known to have a close bond, and al the places the knight has made are places that Asriel and Kris get along in. Akin to that Ralsei is always where Kris is, raising the similarity that both sides of this mystery coin link back to him. In addition. Ralsei knows things that he didn’t know why he did, it’s safe to assume the same goes for the knight, this omniscience, and seeming omnipotence, creates a deity like figure - which may link to how Asriel describes himself as the “god of hyperdeath” in undertale

of course there’s the factor of Asgore’s note from chapter 5 saying that the knight has been around since around about the time Dess disappeared (or just since when the last dark fountain was found) to that I either say Asriel went into the darkness with Asgore and whomever else was present unnoticed, or out of fear for Dess. Or the knight is some kind of free vessel of hate that formed around something to do with Asriel. Either way, for there to be the lonely prince and the knight presumably at the same time, both with the ability to travel to all dark worlds, something would occur with an item (or items) of Asriel. As before, I raise that drawing of Asriel and something along the lines of a usb (or heck maybe an edgy drawing of his game character he made) for the knight were thrown away. But where? It cannot be anything past chapter 1, and it cannot be chapter 1 itself for we can assume the closet was never forever a dark fountain, and even if we could, it would be best to assume it was being kept secret by someone, likely either teacher, but that Is a different can of worms and I’m not a theory slop machine, I just give food for thought. So what if, relating back to the chapter 5 snow grave ending, they were chucked in the lake, as said before. It is a natural absence of light at the bottom, perhaps its own darker than dark world. Or maybe they are actually from the bunker all along.

so like… what if I said information from this chapter has given me a Ralsei and roaring knight theory..

so one could say the ghost of Dess and whatever clothing made the knight like Pink

but I raise that an item or thing correlated to Dess and Asriels love created the roaring knight and Ralsei. To clarify I’m not usually a theory person and myself I don’t believe believe it, but I like making ideas. So here it is. I might repost this with a “Asriel is Ralsei and the knight” theory after.

The knight is made from Asriel and Dess’s breakup or hate. the Dess drowned theory aside - the knight has a dripping animation in chapter three : perhaps tears from heartbreak. But showing how once upon a time they were once a symbol of their relationship there is -

antlers : a feature of the holiday’s however in a description of a photo in the beginning of the chapter it states how Kris and Asriel put branches on their snow angles to make them seem like deer.

the weapon - it’s obviously a more baseball shaped sword however, as we find out in chapter three, Asriel played a sword magician.

attacks - the stars seen during the fight could be seen as snowflakes, something that relates to the holidays through Noelle and ice magic. However there is also correlation to Asriels attacks in Undertale, aswell as his goat blaster sort of attack being mimicked during the knights ultimate attack.

onto Ralsei - they are a product of the innocence and love of Dess and Asriels relationship. They have fire magic, like Toriel and Asgore, fluffy, like them, and have a sort of childish look to them with pink horns. The only theory I am firm in with belief is my own that Ralsei is a childhood drawing of Asriel, so using that one could say it was something Dess drew for him a kids, a tie between the dreamers and Holidays and er go furthering that parallel between Ralsei and the knight. We also know that Ralsei could, in theory, be as strong and powerful as he wants to be, shown by dialogue between Flowery and Ralsei in chapter 5, perhaps another parallel as Ralsei chooses to stay within the rules whereas the knight abandons it. Aswell, both are titles, a knight serves a prince and both relate to a king and queen. It ties well for them both correlating to Asriel as a sword magician (typically one who wields a sword is a knight) and him being the flower prince during the festival back when Toriel and Asgore were the flower king and queen . We have also gotten evidence of Asriel being a romantic and even dating Dess at some point judging by the “your weakness gets the better of you” note on top of all the love letters and the thought of Dess and Asriel on the ferris wheel together.

all in all, the knight and Ralsei might originate from what is under the lake, as we see in the snow grave ending Noelle’s sprite turns back to Normal, showing how she’s no longer under water. What if after their breakup or Dess’s disappearance, Asriel chucked the childhood drawing and perhaps something that reminded him of playing with Dess like back in chapter 3, perhaps a usb of photos together, into the lake.

But after all… that’s just a theory…
