i killed the boogeyman

     "get a glass from the top shelf, put some ice in it and pour a big ass glass of harden the fuck up."

     could daphne be any cuter? apparently so. there was a giggle that bubbled out of velma as she nodded and grinned. “i, uh, was about to ask you the same thing.” and she revealed the purple rose she had been hiding behind her back, offering it to daphne.

     the other certainly had velma’s interest, her own nervousness seeming to be getting better as well. “yeah, that would be pretty cool if you would. they sound incredible.”

      and here comes velma’s disappointed mom voice, “both of you, stop that.”

     there was a snort of amusement, daphne really was something else. “you mean gym?”

     there was embarrassment heating in her face, a slight panic at the thought before she suppressed it and got a hold of herself. “w.illiam s.hatner, specifically from the 60′s and 70′s.”

     it was like dealing with two five year olds with drinking permits. “that doesn’t give you the right to start acting like a little bitch too.”

     “yeah, they were really fun to make and use. i think about three rules were made in my battle bot club because of me.” she laughed lightly, eyes lighting up at her words. “that’s really cool, i loved those. how advanced have you made them?”

     what else is new? “don’t make me put you both in time out.”

     the corners of her lips pulled into a soft smile, “i haven’t had a lot of firsthand experiences with ghosts, but i love robots. i built a few battle bots in high school, actually.”
