On our way through Luxembourg we stopped to walk a memorial trail that made its way through the foxholes where American and German soldiers fought during the Battle of the Bulge. It is a strange feeling to walk through such a peaceful forest and know that in the not to distant past a horrific war was fought and many lives lost. (at Luxembourg, Luxembourg)

The "Devils Bridge" in Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau was incredible. It is too bad you arent allowed to walk across it anymore, but I do understand why. It would be ruined rather quickly with all the wear and tear. But its a very cool treat to go see.
