He walks in the room adjusting his cowl, bouncing his time between the TITANS and the JUSTICE LEAGUE often left Wally busy. This doesn’t even count the work done on his own, always trying to keep the world safe even if there was so much NEW to adjust to. He has had less time to settle than others. “You wanted to see me? I hope I’m not late.” He looks up at the clock in the room, and breathes a sigh of relief. “I’m early — well that doesn’t happen often.” He leans against one of the chairs. “My uncle isn’t here, SO I’m the only FLASH we got right now.” Typically there was a significant number of heroes from his family on the roster, but right now? It was just Wally — no pressure or anything.

The speedster pulls his legs off of the coffee table, looking up when someone walks through the apartment doors. He knows that this is probably unexpected — with two eight year olds on the floor too playing with some action figures that vaguely resemble some of the justice league members. Wally stands up, turning off the television program to give his attention to Jean. “We’re just waiting for Dick to come home. I told them it would be a few hours, but they couldn’t wait. I hope you don’t mind the company?” He asks hopeful, only to have his daughter raise her head to look at her father. “Daddy! I’d like a Batgirl doll for Christmas!” Which makes him smile. “I’ll tell Santa, sweetheart.” His gaze turns back to Jean when the kids go back to playing.  “I made some coffee if you drink that sort of thing.”

“huh?“ harley asked to particularly no one before glancing up at the sky where the ‘oracle’ message seemed to have previously come from. “what was that?“ she asked loudly, turning to look at the people on the street around her. squinting, she glared at the nearest person to stop and stare at her. “what’s the matter? ain’t you ever had someone talk to you out of thin air before? and it’s not the voices, believe me - i know them, this one’s different!” she insisted before stepping closer to the person. “but since i got you here, care to tell me where i can go to find this essex person?” ( @earthstarters​ )

Wally wasn’t going to put on the suit today, but sometimes life has a way of changing his plans. Which is how he pulled the spandex out of the ring on his finger, changing in an instant while the world looked as if it had been put on pause around him. Which is how the world usually always looks for him when he was going fast. Wally is pulled out of his thoughts when someone speaks up nearby — realizing how many blocks he must have ran processing the message. It put him in the mood for a patrol if anything. “I don’t know where Essex is hiding, but you can’t just walk in there without a plan! We can do some digging? If you want to come along for that.”

Another day, another guy causing trouble in Queens.

Peter swung over the rooftops in his full suit, before dropping down in front of the guy who was trying to cut through a padlock around a … unicycle. Ok, that was cool. Who rode unicycles these days? Clearly, this guy. And the guy who was actually the owner of the thing.

With a flick of his wrist, he webbed the guy’s hand up. “Just a friendly reminder,” he said, “Stealing? Not cool.”

“That’s my bike, you jerk!” the guy yelled, while Peter turned to holler, “Does anyone know who owns this bike?”

“It’s me!” the guy yelled again, yanking furiously on the webs. 

“No one?” Peter said.

Wally is leaning against one of the buildings, dressed in his red spandex uniform of course. His red hair falling over the rim of his mask while just observing what was going on for a second. He did love being THE FLASH, even if patrolling this city continues to be an adjustment.

He was over at the other heroes side before anyone could blink, looking at the man currently webbed up. “I think you should hear him out.” He raises a gloved hand, as if to signal for the spider to hold on, but there was a question in mind that makes him wonder.

“If the unicycle belongs to you why are you trying to cut through the padlock? Did you lose your key? Be honest, we’ll know if you’re lying.” Wally was always so kindhearted, seeing them best in everyone before assuming the worst.

tony blinked at wally’s words, not entirely expecting to hear from the man that his kids had powers too - but finding it oddly adorable in all the same sense. “shelly’s a cute name - better than what i thought of,” he agreed giving a bit of recovery and a smile. “your kids sound fun - i apparently have a daughter who’s a genius like me but i haven’t gone to see her as she’s technically the dead version of me’s kid and i don’t want to scare her, her name’s morgan.” it was the first time he’d really spoken about her and settling bit of discomfort crept up within him over it. “there’s… two of them? batman and manbat? wow, gotham sure is something - ” tony added with a incredulous huff before giving a very serious nod. “yeah, which is why i wanted to get to you before you heard the bad way around - and your kids… i agree are top priority, i’ll make sure they’re safe too.” he gives a guarantee before sighing, “right now we need to find these asshats and then put the fear of god into them so they don’t think they have power over us. so the next thing for you and i to do is to start hitting the streets and finding oswald and fisk.”

His children are quite unique — not even considering their abilities with they statement. The interests they have are always changing, but they’re curious which must come from their mother and his aunt. Whenever they go somewhere new they ask a bunch of questions. Wally never regrets his decision to keep them out of being HEROES — believing the two of them to be much too young. “They’re great, maybe I’ll introduce you sometime. They like to meet new people.” Wally admits with a bright smile, one they fades after a moment. “Lovely name. I can understand not wanting to scare her. How old is she if you don’t mind me asking? I’m always here if you want PARENTING advice.” Wally means that, not knowing enough parents oddly enough. His hand pushes through his red hair, not expecting Tony to answer his question if he doesn’t want to. “Yeah, I can’t really speak against their colorful villains considering the rogues back home for ME aren’t much better. I fight a man that calls himself WEATHER WIZARD for example. He has a wand and everything.” Which is hilarious looking back on all of their fights over the years. His expression serious when it all circles around back to his kids.

“I appreciate that. There’s still a lot they need to learn about their powers, and I don’t want the pressure of the world coming after them if everyone knew. I just want them to be able to have a taste of normalcy, you know? I started fighting crime when I wasn’t much older than them, and don’t want that for them.” They don’t have to be HIM. “I don’t know who FISK is, but I can tell you pretty much anything about Oswald. We can compare notes? If they’re working together that could mean trouble.” He says, as he runs off AND is back before Tony could blink with some paper to write down some information. His hand moving fast like a blur while the rest of his body stayed normal.

    jonathan analyzed that figure for a short second as he talked to his children, a sort of cold look on his eyes, although that quickly changed into a warmer feature before the other looked over.  “don’t worry, i know how it is…”  the psychiatrist commented, offering a short smile to the other. he’d not gotten the chance to have a kid himself since his work was far more important than to have a wife and make a family, and even if he wanted that it’d be impossible since most people knew who he was and would just run away in terror.  “kids, am i right?”  he chuckled shortly.  “they have so much energy.”

Wally doesn’t sense the COLDER expression the man was giving him, only noticing the more welcoming one when their gaze met. He doesn’t suspect anything, offering up a smile to mirror the one offered to him. “You have any kids?” Wally asks since he doesn’t know the man any better to know that he doesn’t. He remembers when the twins were born it was the biggest surprise — like being struck by lightning twice. Wally ruffles up the hair on the Jai and Irey’s head with a laugh. “These two have more energy than anyone I’ve ever met. I guess that’s why they take after me, but I’m glad you’re alright, sir.”

“If you two get too excited, you’re going to give me an excitement overload,” she teased, ruffling each of the kids’ hair, playfully. She’d missed seeing Wally and the kids- but here they were. The team was almost complete- they were just missing Roy and Donna now. She had to wonder where they were. Were they back home, or here, fighting their own battles? “I saw Garth,” she assured Wally, finally rising to her feet again. That sounded like Dick, and she cracked a smile. For someone who kept adamantly saying he didn’t want to be his father, he sure did have a lot in common with Bruce Wayne, from being a workaholic to taking kids under his wing (and the bird pun was very much intended). “I had a vision that something bad was going to happen- centered in Gotham- so I came- and that was around the time we… moved.” he smile faded for a second, but it was back and she gave Wally another hug, “I’m glad we’re all together again- or most of us are. Dick wants to put the team back together- I dont know if he told you or not,” she paused, “after that party, he thinks the Titans are needed. Let the Avengers and Justice League and X-men face world ending events while we take on the ones closer to home- just like old times.”

It was a relief having more of their friends appearing, which leaves Wally wondering where ROY AND DONNA are out there with everything going on. He knows that both of them are capable in protecting themselves with whatever is thrown their way. He just hates that any of the TITANS are separated from the rest like that. He needs to have faith though in being reunited again — all of them back like the old days. Wally returns the embrace, wrapping his arms around his friend. “I would be lost without all of you. I’m glad Garth is alright, hard to get in contact with him sometimes when he’s back home.” His kids have run off to go play, hopefully not making a mess like they usually do. He keeps his attention on Lilith, giving her a serious look while rubbing her back with one of his hands. “If you’re all in you can count me as part of the team too. It’s like nothing changed!” Wally was always available for Justice League missions too, but supporting his best friends is more important in his eyes. 

      tony still felt pretty awful in the grand scheme of things when it came to someone’s identity. if someone had trusted him with it - and he had the notes for a kid called peter parker that had trusted dead him - then he wasn’t about to spoil it. letting out a laugh at the thought of some kid that might have his dads speedy power owning a turtle, tony sat across from the other and smiled. ”okay you got me there, did he name the turtle speedy? or something obscure like boris?” sighing when things got serious, tony relaxed back and nodded. ”that isn’t what’s concerning - intel from the manbat guy says that identities have been compromised - oswald and a guy named fisk.” he didn’t want to have to tell him - but he knew one thing, sitting forward tony smiled at wally. ”i’m going to do what i can to make sure they can’t tell anyone, ever.”

Wally tugs at the ends of his red hair, leaning over the top of the table. “He named it SHELLY actually. I have two eight year olds — twins actually. My daughter is a speedster like me, but my son can temporarily grow his muscles to have superhuman strength. He usually needs a nap after though his body goes back to normal.” They aren’t allowed to do anything related to being a superhero, he forbidden it as letting them just be kids was more important. Once things get more serious, Wally stops himself from laughing. “You mean Batman? MANBAT is someone else entirely. If identities have been compromised that’s serious — I don’t care about what happens to me, but there’s the matter of my kids. I’ll help you make sure they don’t tell anyone. It isn’t their business to make anyone’s identity public. It should be a personal choice. Did you have a plan in mind?”

    that was odd. jonathan was pretty sure he’d been aware of his surroundings until the moment that he bumped into that mysterious person. he arched an eyebrow at the younger figure for a second, wondering where that person had come from, but just let it go as a smile settled down on his features.  “oh, i’m sorry. i didn’t see you there!”  he apologized, fixing the collar of his jacket for a second before gazing back at the other.  are you okay?”  he asked, tilting his head to the side for a second.

“How many times do I have to tell you kids not to run off like that?” Wally announces as he catches up to them, running at a normal speed actually which surprises him. Sometimes it was about control, and that’s a lesson his children needed to learn still. His daughter was giggling, so that tells him enough that she had been phasing at least for part of this encounter only to appear visible again at the last second. Jai doesn’t seem as thrilled with the whole thing. “We’re okay mister!” The children reply as Wally places a hand on the twins shoulders, looking over at the other man. He seems familiar, but doesn’t question it all just yet. “Are you alright? I’m sorry about them, they’re just playing around.” The older speedster replies with an apologetic smile.

      tony belatedly realized that he might have accidentally almost exposed the poor guy and quickly went into a rapid-fire quip of an apology. “sorry - bad habit, my brain moves faster than my mouth, probably as fast as you skedaddle.” he added, giving a quick grin and a nod. “and you’ve never heard of zoomies? cats do that, i like cats - probably a little too much, anyway - wally was it? hi wally, i’m tony. nice to meet you.” he grinned, pulling his glasses off and clipping them to his shirt. “yup, this table here - and don’t worry about the identity thing, i won’t tell a soul - kinda have respect for you for keeping it under wraps though,” he paused, “yes, onto what happened but first - ” he tapped at his glasses quickly placing him and wally into a ‘dead zone’ so that no one could spy on them. “there we go, free to talk without big brother watching… or listening,”

“It’s quite alright.” Wally tries to protect his identity, but cares more about doing the right thing. He hasn’t had to compromise himself yet though thankfully. “It’s nice to officially meet you, Tony. CATS are great, but my son was more interested in having a turtle.” He answers while moving to sit down at the table, laughing at his own words. He crosses his arms over the top of the table, curious as to just how the technology works. Wally assumes it’s better not to ask so many questions when they had other things to discuss. “I should have known Oswald would be up to something. He’s always been really SHADY, so him having other plans for all that money? How didn’t we see it?”

      tony observed the other as best as he could - using his dead him’s technologically advanced glasses to track the movements before holding out a cup of coffee as an offer for wally to stop and chat when he got near. “if you have a moment between your busy day of having the zoomies, i wanted to catch up with you with the aftermath of… well, what happened back in penguin’s hot spot.” he inhaled sharply, taking a sip of his own coffee. “tony stark, by the way - i don’t think we really introduced ourselves to each other.” ( @wallacwest​ )

When you’re the fastest person to EVER exist that usually means no one could see you unless they had the proper technology to track his movements somehow. There was a lot to this world that Wally doesn’t know, and so he was surprised when someone calls out to him. He stops in place, standing there in his uniform — red hair falling over the cowl and into his eyes. “I’ll admit I’ve never heard it called ZOOMIES.” One of his hands relax on his hips as something to keep them busy, smiling genuinely looking over at Tony. “It’s a pleasure to properly meet you. Thanks for the coffee.” He took the other cup with his free hand, glad for the warmth coming off of it through his gloved hands. “I’m Wally West, but don’t tell anyone. Secret identities — you know? I’d love to talk about what happened though. You want to sit around here somewhere while we TALK?”
