Get ready-- long ask, gomen! Thoth, Hathor, Arawn, Bragi, Athena, Apollo, Cernunnos. :)
(Hellooooo~ I have missed you!)
Thor: Would you consider yourself pretty powerful?
Oh gosh, not at all on a physical level. I mean my legs can be surprisingly strong, but I’m still p pathetic in that regard, hahah.
Hathor: What brings you joy?
The easiest way to make me joyful is to get me on a tangent about something I really enjoy (like rambling about history [especially Three Kingdoms stuff] or nerdy geology things). Another good way is through bunnies.
Arawn: What is the most terrifying thing you’ve ever done?
I’m not really sure how to answer this, honestly… I feel like I’m forgetting something really important. So for the moment, I don’t really have a good answer for this, although there were a few trips I’ve had to take to the hospital for tests that were really terrifying at the time, so I suppose that’ll be my answer for now.
Bragi: What kind of music do you listen to?
Such a wide range of genres that I can’t list a handful of types and be comprehensive about it. D:
Athena: Would you consider yourself an artist?
Almost every time I see my aunt and mother, I get some line or another about “artists named Kimberly…” and knowing smiles because apparently these two things in conjunction automatically = habitually late for meetings.
I hope that’s an okay answer. ówò;;;
Apollo: Do you play any instruments?
I do! I’ve fallen behind in most of them, but I’m trying to get back into it. My main instrument is a concert flute, and I have a violin that I’m a little knowledgeable in. Self-taught piano, some extremely basic acoustic guitar (I think I’ve forgotten everything on that, though, so I’m hesitant to add it to this list). I’ve played percussion without much trouble once I got used to the sheet music for it (this mostly applies to bass drum and timpani; snare drums were a bit of a challenge, so I don’t count them at all, and I haven’t tried much else), so I helped out with those once for a concert. Similarly, I played handbells for a concert at a friend’s church back in high school, and holy crap that was actually really hard. I got it after like three or four practice sessions, but ugh… Mad respect for handbell players.
Honestly, I’ve always really wanted to play the cello, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I’ve also held a soft spot for the erhu and qin for 12+ years and would really desperately like to learn them, but ah well.
There are a few instruments that my friends have handed to me to try out, and I can make pretty sounds on them, but idk what I’m doing so those don’t count in the least, lmao…
(I knew there was a ramble in here somewhere.)
Cernunnos: What is your favorite animal?
I bet you’re all expecting me to say rabbits. WELL YOU’RE RIGHT, although the list extends from there. There are a lot of animals that I really love that aren’t going to be listed, but:
Cheetahs, cranes, too many fish to possibly list even a few, penguins, snails, owls, dragonflies, hawks, eagles, butterflies, snakes, dogs, SO MANY BIRDS, horses, sheep with their creepy but adorable faces, goats… ’kay, this list is getting a bit out of hand.
Pretty much a lot of swimming and flying things.
