Colored this today and didn’t really like a lot of the shadings I did. In the bigger areas you can see the strokes and it’s all line-y. Idk, it’s a learning process. Also was lost with what to do next like 4 times. Anyway, will look up YT tutorials to better my coloring techniques.

Must have been years since I sat down and coloured a picture. This is also my first time colouring something to this extent with blending. I didn’t know I had it in me. I really enjoyed it and glad I bought this adult colouring book. Will continue this to help clear my mind. May not be a daily practice but definitely weekly. Some of the pages in this book are really intricate so it probably won’t take an hour to complete like this one did.

Last night when me and my boyfriend were returning from an event at night a young guy decided to interrupt our convo to say 日本語上手ですね (Your Japanese is really good). At first, I didn’t know he was talking to me until my boyfriend motioned his head towards him. Like, why!????? It was so awkward because me and him were having a good ole funny convo and this dude decided to interrupt. What made it more awkward was him going up the same stairs we had to go up to to get out of the subway station and dude kept looking down when going up the stairs asking me questions. It felt like he was trying to ナンパ me (pick me up) in front of my boyfriend! Like why duuuude!?? He asked me how long I studied Japanese and then asked me where I’m from. Ugh. I feel like I’m going to get more awkward situations like this since recently starting to date my boyfriend who so happens to be Japanese.
