He looks into the Child's eyes and his mind flashes.

He's a sick and nervous padawan before his first Battle,

full of Doubt and Fear.

He's a boy in love, forbidden by the Jedi,

full of Anger and Pain.

Then, all of the sudden, He's a Knight.

A Fire Diamond twinkles, a gift from a Woman - just a girl then.

He smiles before his eyes meet the world again.

He pats Ani on the shoulder and they step into the warm sand toward their ship.

Medieval Star Wars: Qui-Gon Jinn

A physically imposing, fierce fighter, and free thinker. Wading into combat since a young Padawan with his Master Dooku - it's no surprise Jinn often disagreed with the Jedi Council.

He was used as a hammer, a tool - strike missions and all-out-battles marred the line between a Scared Boy and Capable Knight - many times to fear, many times to doubt.

Yet he chose The Light: Not for Man's recognition, not for Divine reward, and not to balance The Force. But becuase it was the Light.

A walking Arsenal and most feared Man Hunter in any realm - where he goes; the floors fill with gold or heads.

The Sindh Matchlock has a later period body, but still works with medieval tech. The curved stock is for one-handed shooting while on horseback, which I thought fit Boba perfectly.

he also has a small Latchet Crossbow, which was used by Scottish Border Reavers during the English Civil War to, once again, fire and reload from horseback. these are similar to Balestrino Crossbows, but a bit larger and more practical in open combat.

I love transitional Armors - The 1300s are abound with unique kits.

Particularly Sapper kits are always unique, as they're specialized for the task at hand - which is often hard manual labor under threat of stones and arrows.

The Long Hammer would work fine in a pinch, if the besieged force were to sally out.

I couldn't quite tell why the Crossbow was stylized with bumps. I thought it may be horn, but some forum members pointed out it's likely Yew, as it's known to be a strong, knotty wood; and colored depictions gave them "Belly & Back" coloring as is typical of medieval bows.
