hey netizens! i'm not sure how many people are aware, but youtube's been slowly rolling out a new anti-adblock policy that can't be bypassed with the usual software like uBlock Origin and Pi-Hole out of the gate

BUT, if you're a uBlock Origin user (or use an adblocker with a similar cosmetics modifier), you can add these commands in the uBlock dashboard to get rid of it!

an outcry - heed the trigger warnings for this one but it was genuinely stunning. cannot recommend it enough to people who can handle it

there swings a skull: grim tidings - made by the same dev as the last one! less heavy than the previous one but still has some tws to look out for. really beautiful poignant game. take the path of the drat

lily’s well (free!) - a game about a little girl who hears a distressed cry coming from the well outside her house. that’s all i’ll say.

lost cartridge: cold read - made by the same dev as lily’s well! homophobia is touched upon. very reminiscent of stuff like ao oni in its gameplay in a really neat way!

slay the princess - this one’s in a demo stage rn (it actually just got updated with a good chunk of new content tho!) but its INCREDIBLY intriguing. stanley parable meets disco elysium in terms of gameplay alone.

oneshot - this one’s a bit better known than everything above but god its genuinely lifechanging. just remember though! you only have one shot
