UR ART IS SO GOOD HOLY SHIT i discovered it via old homestuck posts #sorrey
Thank you and well, I put it online at some point in history so there it is... a name I haven't heard in 15 years
From while ago, dragon sketches. I was trying to be more conscious of including bat-like features in a dragon, I don't think it was very bold or new in what came out in the end, but was fun to doodle. Usually I've drawn dragons from kinda far away just because I like the silhouette and they're more graphic looking because of that.
your work is so stunning, though our styles are very different seeing your work fills me with a lot of inspiration to create. thank you for putting yourself out here <3
Thank you anon, really brightened up my Monday with this message. If I can inspire others to create something, I'm really moved by that.
Wolf studies from sketchbook, I liked the profile and how it turned out.

This is the line of division / Terminus Est Thecla and Severian from The Book of the New Sun series, which I've been reading for the past couple of years.
I want to give a shout out to Shelved by Genre podcast, which has been excellent listening after reading each book, their long discussions about the chapters have been interesting and inspiring, and provided some context for lot of things I had no point of reference for at all. (Catholic lore, for one). Funnily enough they mentioned in fan art, there tends to be two camps for Severian - either the heavy metal-esque, ripped as hell muscle fantasy type, or, the jrpg protagonist. You can see which camp I am.

Started as a study of gothic armour (second character) but I wanted to try mixing and matching it with different clothing elements

Silksong fanart Made with acrylic gouache and ink on paper
Will you make any books/art-archives of your fantasy stuff? I’d pay good money for that!
Ahh that makes me happy to hear, that there's interest. I'd like to make a zine or something out of the b&w ink works and maybe when there's enough material, another for the colored fantasy works. Or they might end up combining. I'm not currently working on a zine or book but hopefully when I've made enough I'll get this spark to start organizing them in indesign.
