For me, if I am met with a genuinely well-written, likeable, interesting adult character that I could've loved from the beginning of my enjoyment of a show or book, that character could easily be ruined for me if I start to see constant proshipping between that character and another character who *happen/happened to be very much a minor at the start (bonus points if the minor character is a character I absolutely LOVE.)

Like seriously, I would start to dislike said adult character simply because of the proship, but only for a short temporary amount of time .

Since the start of fourth year, she has been having this strange, constant discontent with her appearance. Sure, shes always been self-conscious, but only now is she having random urges to change her hair, clothing style, makeup—because of never being satisfied or happy whenever she looks in the mirror.
