#not a store but I've worked for my mum on two separate occasions #once in the business she owned at the time and then again later as her assistant #on both occasions she ensured that I was paid the full adult minimum wage at least #she also paid all her employees the same rate regardless of age #bc idk if it's a thing outside the uk but here the minimum wage for under 16s is literally half the wage for over 18s #and the 18+ rate is also about a quarter less than the 25+ rate
