Requests are still open for the palette challenge?? đ đ If we're allowed to send a second one then Mace Windu for #2 or #108 (there are so many good options!!)? Emphasis on the 'if', if not it's fine!! Absolutely loved Fox (I keep switching tabs to look at him again) and I'm happy with that!
Thanks for the request! Inspired by this post.
Allowed to request more than once?? đ Is there a limit?? (Because if not you've unleashed a monster hehe (actually though, is there a limit? I don't want to spam you)). I saw that ATLA's one of your fandoms â if you're willing to draw a character from there, what about one of the Water Tribe siblings (either one, whoever you prefer!) with #9?
Haha, itâs been a while since I drew them.
Thanks for the request, Iâve been losing my motivation lately ;v;
(Hi bestie!) STAR WARS ASKS TAG đŞâ¨Youâve been tagged! Tell us your answers and send this on to five mutuals. May the Fourth be with you!1. Who are your top five favorite Star Wars characters?2. Which planet would you choose to live on?3. What would your occupation be in the galaxy far far away?4. Who is your Star Wars soulmate?5. Who would be your sidekick (creature or droid)? --eyayah-oya
HI PURAH!!
Okay SO:
Fox, the Coruscant Guard (I'd never be able to pick / rank them, canonical and / or otherwise, so just the Guard), Dogma, Mace Windu, and. Uh. I'm blanking. Tie between Jango Fett, Alpha-17, and Agen Kolar, I guess.
This is probably a weird choice, but Coruscant. I'm a city girl and there's something about that planet that really calls to me. I'd love to explore and check out all of the different cultural spots and make my own little niche.
I don't even know what I want to do in this galaxy. Well, I do, I'm just too tired to acknowledge / think about it. But if I could do that in GFFA.... a trauma surgeon / field medic working for humanitarian aid organizations like MÊdecins Sans Frontières. Which would probably not go so well given what happens in canon... oh well.
I'm on the ace / aro spectrum so no sexual or romantic soulmate... dunno. Probably someone who I'd be good friends with and whose company I'd enjoy. Who knows, maybe it's the next-door neighbor, the local Jedi, or a librarian- WAIT NO. A TOOKA.
Hehehe. Definitely furry friends. Notice the 's' at the end of friends because I'm going for multiple!! Give me the tookas. Besides, I love the droids in Star Wars but I don't think they'd be great given my migraines. So, tookas.
my friends forced me to draw this

Fox & #17 or #94? So many good options!!
Thank you so much for request!! This one was really fun.
This au is dedicated to the equally evil minded soul who left this idea in my tags on Young Fox au and you know who you are.
In which, at the beginning of the war there had been hiccups where Palpatine wasn't sneaky enough or forgot about Commander Fox being around and some use of the force made it easy to hide the memory. When that began failing, he simply started ripping the memories out one by one. After that, harsh lessons to help his commander forget after shuffling his mind up were given. By the time the war was at a high point and Palpatine was busy with his plans, he got bored of Commander Fox 'learning' about any truths so he simply sends him back to Kamino for reconditioning every time Fox makes the smallest of mistakes. At first Fox was able to come back from the reconditioning but as time went on and his numbers of reconditions grew, the less of Fox came back until eventually CC-1010 was the only thing that ever came back anymore.
His fellow Guard commanders could only stand by as they could see something was wrong in beginning, at first thinking Fox has a defect that had even missed and worked to help get him back. Then the first reconditioning came and it was tears shared when a dull eyed CC-1010 stopped in middle of a meeting, turning his face downwards and light showing back in his eyes as he frowned with a scold towards Hound but a smile rising as Grizzer happily nudges his hand for attention under the table.
From there they all developed different methods and ways to try triggering Fox out of CC-1010, to bring their Commander back. And for a glorious time, it worked without a hitch. Then it became harder as more intense sessions of reconditioning happen and Fox gets harder and harder to bring back until one day nothing in their books work. They're left with CC-1010, not Fox. Desperately, they tell him truth, of who he is and what's been done, spilling out everything to him in hopes it works but not only does CC-1010 remain but he is angry enough to confront the Chancellor on the wrongs done to him.
For a long time after Fox is gone at Kamino, the others placed temporarily in charge until they begin thinking Fox won't come back until finally he does but this time with a whole new personality, number, name and even different looks but they could see it was still Fox underneath it all and soon a visit to each one at a time, the Chancellor made sure this new clone was seen as he always 'had been' with no memories of Fox in anyone's mind as CC-1010 was marked killed in action to make less pry into where Commander Fox had went.

Ponds let himself into Maceâs quarters. His Jedi was meditating in the central room, had been since he returned from questioning Palpatine.
Bad sign.
Until Mace finished meditating, there was nothing Ponds could do to directly comfort him. But he went and got down the weighted blanket they mostly used on Caleb when the Force was just Too Much. He checked the food supplies and put in an order with the quartermaster. He chopped vegetables and made a stir fry.
By the time his Jedi finished meditating, Ponds had made enough stir fry for both of them and sent an extra box of it to Gree. His di'kut brother might be getting all of his flimsiwork done while he sat with Fox, but he was terrible about actually eating.
âPonds.â
âMace.â He handed his Jedi a plate of stir-fry then sat down on the floor with his own. They ate in companionable silence. After seconds for Mace and thirds for Ponds, he set his plate aside. âAll right. What happened?â
âToo much.â Mace gathered the dirty dishes with the Force and stacked them on one of the side-tables. âI can confirm Sidious has Commander Fox.â
Ponds clenched his fists. âWhat is that demagolka doing to him?â
âOn the surface, heâs keeping the commander as a pet.â
âWhat,â Ponds bit out. He knew he wasnât shielding his anger well; he could see it in the sudden tightness around Maceâs eyes. But honestly, he thought he was doing pretty good by staying seated and not immediately running off to the prison to commit a murder.
Mace grimaced. âHe invited me to share a meditation with him. It was⌠Unpleasant. In it, he had Commander Foxâs constrained in such a way that he looked like a Guard-red fox.â
âIf I crack his skull open, do you think Fox can get out that way?â Ponds mused, tapping his comm awake and checking the guard roster for Palpatine.
âNo, Ponds.â
âWhat if Master Che did it-â
âStill no, Ponds.â
â
Ponds had learned something from General Windu that he was refusing to share, so Thire had been recruited to grill him over a group lunch. Well, Thire had agreed to come along and have food with them at least. He didnât want to know what the Chanc- the Sith Lord was doing to Fox.
He knew far too much about what the Sith Lord had already done to Fox.
âIâve been meaning to ask,â Thorn said, a phrase which never heralded anything good in Thireâs experience, âwhatâs with Wolffeâs boytoys?â
Bly choked on his drink, while Ponds gave Thorn that flat look heâd honed from watching General Windu. âBoytoys.â
âYou know, those two CTs heâs always got with him.â
âTheyâre the other survivors of the Malevolence.â
âOH.â Enlightenment crashed across Thornâs face. âYeah, okay, not surprised. Lots of vode get like that with other survivors.â
Pondsâs look got even flatter. Bly, who could clearly only be allowed to play sabacc with natborns, winced. (Most of the GAR was very expressive by Guard standards, but Bly took it to another level.) Apparently this was another thing that was Guard-normal, or at least Guard-common knowledge, and GAR-disturbing as heck. Which usually meant one of the GAR CCs was going to try to hug him. Gree was still with Fox, soâŚ
Donât get him wrong, Thire was glad as heck the rest of the CCs hadnât been through what the Guard CCs had been through. But the distress from the GAR was so much, everything he had learned in the Senate insisted it had to be performative. He knew it wasnât, but he couldnât make himself believe that.
He tried to lighten the mood and preempt any hugging attempts. âThorn, Iâm begging you. Please. Please. Call them boytoys to his face.â
That got snickers from the other three. âMake sure his bucketâs off and youâre recording,â Ponds added. âI want to see his face.â
â
His owner was showing him off. That meant his owner wanted people to focus on him instead of anything else his owner was doing. That meant he needed to be lovely and obedient and delightful.
Fox knew how to be lovely and obedient and delightful. His owner had made sure of it.

happy hangover day everyone RIP
whatâs happening with Fox has different answers depending on your perspective
Previously onâŚ
â
Bly set down the last comm-disc and dialed Cody. On the other discs, Doom looked up from repairing his armor, Bacara set down his datapad, and Wolffe stepped back into camera pick-up range.
Cody flickered into being on the comm, helmet and uppers off like Doom. Good, he was somewhere private and safe enough. Bly felt something in himself relax a little bit. The Nova Corps was still too much in the thick of things; Bacara had been reluctant to even take his helmet off. Wolffe was down to his black and obviously agitated; Bly was pretty sure Sinker and Boost were out of camera-range but still in the same room. When Wolffe got upset, he needed to know those two were safe.
Bly himself and Ponds had also taken off their helmets and uppers. Gree was in his blacks with a black Jedi robe around his shoulders; Bly still hadnât gotten the story of that out of him. Stone still had his armor on so he could relay the conversation to Thire, who was on duty. Thorn was in patient robes; according to him, the healers said the Dark was lingering in his wounds and scars, like an infection. Three days in bacta hadnât healed him anywhere as much as it should have, even despite the injuries he got from the clusterfuck of arresting Palpatine. He was having to heal the old-fashioned way, with near-daily visits from the senior-most healers to prevent the Dark from worsening his wounds.
Cody looked around, taking them all in. He settled minutely then glanced off-camera. âCome say hi, Rex.â
There was an aggrieved sigh as their blond vod'ika leaned into pick-up range long enough to wave. That got a tiny smile out of Bacara; Rex always was his favorite outside the Nova Corps.
Ponds frowned. âHowâs Skywalker taking-?â
âBadly,â Rex interrupted. âHe canât decided if everyone is lying because his mentor couldnât possibly be the Sith, or if Palpatine betrayed and used him. Itâs exhausting. âSoka bit him.â
Ponds nodded. âMace doesnât think he should be in combat, but that Skywalker coming back to Coruscant would be even worse.â
âThe High General isnât wrong,â Cody said. âObi-Wan is doing damage-control. Heâs barely glanced at any of my plans before signing off on them. He usually at least reads them,â he added at Thornâs curious look.
âFuck this noise.â Oh, look, theyâd reached the end of Wolffeâs patience. âWhat the kark is going on with Fox?â
Everyone looked to Bly, because for some Force-forsaken reason, theyâd come to expect him to know how to translate Jedi Force nonsense into something usable. âTo start, heâs in a coma. I know you already know that,â he said before Wolffe could interrupt. âThereâs Dark lingering in his scars, like Thornâs injuries.â At the confused looks from the vode not on Coruscant (except Wolffe), he elaborated, âApparently the Dark Side lingers in injuries created with it, like an infection. It slows, and sometimes stops, healing.â
Everyone glanced at Wolffe and the very prominent scar on his face, despite a week in bacta.
âFox was Palpatineâs favorite,â Thorn added, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. âHe got⌠damaged a lot.â
Tortured, Thorn meant. It was still too much of a habit for the Guard to downplay how bad everything had been. Bly knew heâd start crying if he thought too much on it. Sometimes he wondered how a clone who regularly cried when he got overwhelmed with emotion had made marshal commander.
âSo heâs in a bad way, physically,â Bly picked back up. âThe healers are doing what they can-â
âMaster Che comes in every day to pull some of it out. Sheâs always slate with exhaustion when sheâs done.â
Everyone off-Coruscant, except Wolffe again, looked to Ponds to translate what Gree said into something intelligible. âMaster Che is a twi'lek, a little darker blue than General Secura.â
Nods all around; 'slate with exhaustionâ actually made sense with that context.
âSo, heâd be in bad shape even without whatever else is going on,â Doom said, prodding them back on track.
âYeah.â Bly let out a breath. âOkay, the next part involves a lot of Force-stuff. Apparently, Palpatine had been entrenching himself in the minds of the Guard-â
He wasnât even slightly surprised to be interrupted by the four vode off-Coruscant all demanding more information and/or threatening Palpatine. No one ever took that bit of news well.
âNear as we can tell,â Thorn said when the noise started to die down, âhe was mostly keeping up our morale, despite everything happening to us, and mildly improving communications. For day-to-day, anyway.â He shrugged. âCould have been worse.â
The Guardâs nonchalance about it never, ever helped. Bly still wasnât sure if they did it on purpose, or if they genuinely thought they were being reassuring. But that statement caused another explosion of noise as even Ponds felt the need to remind the Thorn that 'could have been worseâ didnât change that it was a deeply awful thing to do.
Gree snapped something in a language Bly didnât recognize, cutting across the din. The meaning was clear enough when he repeated it and made a lowering gesture with his hand.
âHe did it the most with the officers, more with the commanders than the lower ranking ones, and most of all with Fox,â Bly said when everyone quieted down.
âWe have standing appointments with the mind-healers,â Thorn threw in.
âAnd Palpatine used that connection to basically steal Foxâs mind?â Bly hated how he wound up phrasing it as a question. But he still didnât think he entirely understood what Aayla had told him about Foxâs condition, because what the fuck.
âI thought the chakaar was in Force-suppression cuffs,â Cody bit out.
âHe is.â Stone didnât elaborate. He wasnât a talker like Thorn.
âHe is,â Bly echoed. âAccording to Aayla that means that heâs both really powerful and deeply entrenched in Foxâs mind.â He didnât tell them that the healers werenât sure Fox could even wake up without Palpatine coiled into his mind, the demagolka had tied himself in so deeply. They didnât need to be distracted by that while they were winding down the war.
(He was pretty sure Gree and Thorn knew; it was part of how General Unduli convinced Gree to stay instead of going back out to help his vode fight.)
â
Fox never strayed far from his owner. He wasnât always within armâs reach, but the two of them were always in the same room. Often, Fox curled up next to his owner, too tired to do more than chrr when he was petted. If he was awake to notice being touched.
He was just so tired. No matter how much he slept, he felt disconnected and drained when he faded back into consciousness. Always in his ownerâs arms. Always hurting and distressed until familiar hands stroked him from head to tail and chucked him under the chin. Then his owner would feed him Dark little creatures, delicious on his tongue and nauseating on his stomach.
Other things happening while Palpatine is being a creeper
Previously on whatever Iâm doing hereâŚ
â
âHeâs my brother-in-law,â Aayla said reasonably. âAs family, I would like to know whatâs going on.â
âHow,â Saesee asked, sounding more curious than anything, âis Commander Fox your brother-in-law?â
âHe and Bly are batchmates. Iâm certain I donât need to remind the Council that Bly and I married with your full permission and blessings.â The young knight looked around the Council chamber sternly. If she needed to remind them, she would, Mace thought. Insultingly as possible; she was Quinlanâs student.
Strictly speaking, Bly and Fox were not batchmates, Mace knew. Their numbers were too far apart. But they were squadmates and classmates; theyâd trained and lived together their whole lives. It was the same with the other high-ranking CCs; Ponds had explained the whole system to him once. By the standards of many cultures, the Marshal Commanders and battalion commanders would all be considered informal adopted siblings.
â
Fox felt muted, for lack of a better word. His emotions were distant, his thoughts vague. He was somewhere he didnât know with someone he couldnât trust his owner.
How had he gotten here? A scratch behind the ears distracted him. He twisted his head to get those fingers in just the right spot.
His owner chuckled. âLook at you being so sweet for me, pet.â
â
Barriss mentally nudged Gree when she woke. From her sense of him, he was in the Halls of Healing again. Or still. She didnât think heâd left Foxâs side more than he absolutely had to. (âI was gone the entire war. Weâre lucky we both survived. Except-â Gree cut off whatever he was going to say ruthlessly. âThire and Stone canât be here all the time, and Thornâs still recovering himself. I donât need to be anywhere; I can be here for him.â)
He didnât need to be anywhere because Master Luminara put her foot down after Aayla called Bly Foxâs batchmate. Gree was Foxâs actual batchmate, so if Gree wanted to be here with his brother, she would move Coruscant and its moons to make it happen. Not even the continuing war would move her. (That had been quite the argument with Gree, and Barriss had spent most of it watching them being bitingly reasonable with each other. At least until they started being Mirialan courteous to each other. Then, sheâd run off to take refuge with Ahsoka and the 501st.) (âMom and Dad are fighting~â âYou didnât even have a mother.â âDidnât have a dad either, whatâs your point?â)

Palpatine being a creeper
One (1) of you asked for the scribble, so have some scribbling. (Also, I define âscribbleâ in terms of my writing as âunedited and no attempt to be a full and complete scene, much less a storyâ.)
â
Two days after Palpatine was arrested and forced into Force-suppression cuffs, Commander Fox fell into a coma. Physically, there was nothing more wrong with him than there had been before.
Mentally, most of his mind was gone. There was just barely enough in there to maintain his bodyâs autonomous functions.
The other clone commanders did not take that well. Ponds hadnât wanted to explain the histories between the commanders, but Mace was a Jedi. He could feel the gnawing guilt most of the commanders felt towards Fox. Worse, he could feel the resignation of the Guard commanders, the way they just accepted that Fox was gone.
*
Palpatine appeared to be meditating. The Force coiled around him; Force-suppression was not the same thing as being cut off from the Force.
It was a show of power, a taunt. Mace ignored it. âSer Palpatine.â
The Sith Lord didnât stir, but there was a sense in the Force of an opened door, a distant invitation.
Mace did not particularly want to play the Sithâs games, but what he wanted was particularly irrelevant. Palpatine had something to do with Commander Foxâs coma. Mace and Yoda were the only people the Council trusted entirely to never Fall, no matter the circumstances.
He knelt on the floor outside of the cell and settled into his own meditaiton.
*
At first, the shared mindscape was both a throne room and the Chancellorâs office. Mace exerted his own will on it, and the mindscape shifted and settled into a Senatorâs residence.
Palpatine wore simple Naboo robes, elegant in cut and color rather than ornate with decoration. Something more suited to an aide than a politician. Both a personal preference, Mace judged, and a manipulation.
The Sith Lord carried a fox in his arms, its fur Guard-red, and a jeweled collar around its neck.
Mace let fury sweep over, through, and past him.
*
âYou canât blame an old man for wanting to keep his pet with him.â
Hatred rose in Mace, and he paused. The emotion was almost, but not quite, his own. If he was a shade less certain of his place in the Light, he might not have noticed.
He thought of Plo after the Malevolence, of sitting knee to knee with the Kel Dor master while Plo trembled under the weight of the memory of thirty thousand lives ending around him. Of Plo after he rescued Wolffe from Ventress, and that one terrible moment where Mace was certain this war would lead to yet another Jediâs Fall.
Plo would hate with his own hatred, being here while Palpatine called Commander Fox his pet.
