So Erling went to open the TV, he finished his dinner , put his plates into the sink and sat on the couch, watching the game.
Although being the girlfriend of the world-renowned footballer, you didn't really watch games, even once screening for the wrong team , which made Erling side eye you so hard…
Not wanting to disturb his football watching , you decided to go to take a warm shower and get into fluffy pajamas which felt better than any blanket.

It was christmas, another thing that Severus wouldn't care to celebrate, usually only there for his favourite food, Holiday Blancmange. This year , however , not only was there Holiday Blancmange, there was also his favourite human with him.
However , this raised a new quest for Severus, to hide his sweet tooth, so she wouldn't know he's ‘soft' and ‘not masculine.’
It was the night before the yule ball, and they were in her quarters , she was cuddled up with Severus on her fluffy couch in a warm big blanket, she was holding hot chocolate.

“what?”
“you know what would be wonderful with hot cocoa?”

“Sugar cookies and Holiday Blancmange.”
Severus’ eyes go wide for a second in excitement , but he quickly remembers he needs to hide his secret.

Suddenly , a spoon of Holiday Blancmange was held up to his mouth.

Although he jumped with jot internally, he still held his composure.

It has been two weeks , two weeks since Thomas was going to the library to find a book for Ada and ends up seeing the beauty in his dreams.
One week since he started going to the library regularly, even when Ada didn't have anything to return, and when she did , Thomas unusually volunteered.
3 days since he started to greet that sweet librarian with a nod and a small “hello…”, “good mornin'" or a “good afternoon.” Although he was once disappointed after walking into the library, yet again, during the evening time , near night and instead of seeing the sweet girl , he saw an old grandma who was snoring with her dentures nearly falling out.
It was a nice Tuesday evening , and Thomas went to the library again, having prepared himself for a first interaction with the girl.
Straightening himself, wearing a new suit that's neatly ironed and steamed, and making sure his hair didn't look ugly , he walks into the library, looking towards the girl he nods , and says his usual line.
“Good afternoon.”
“Good afternoon.”
She responded with minimal additional information.
“Do you read or write?”
“uhm- I can read and write, why do you ask?”
“I need something written. Not that urgent , but I need someone to write it for me.”

Thomas hadn't thought about that part…a letter…to Arthur…about guns? No, that would scare her. To Ada! About…inviting her to a party next Saturday! She'd understand…right? Hopefully…
“To Ada , just Ada is alright…Jist make sure the main point is going to be inviting her to the party next Saturday.”
“Okay-dokey, I'll leave the address and important information blank so you can fill it in yourself?”

He was going to take the chance of the letter to pay her some money, and to get to know her name.

Thomas was at the library entrance, smoking , when the librarian came out to have her lunch break.

The next day, Thomas was back at the Library again, ready to get his letter. Before going in , he stubbed his cigarette and cleared his throat, making sure he looked presentable.

Hearing his name roll off her tongue was oddly comforting, but also a bit alerting.
“Is my letter ready?”
“yes , I got it, would you like an envelope with it”

“Oh- it's alright, I don't mind, it's not that big of a deal.”

When suddenly , a knock with rhythm came. Severus looked up from his desk , and opened the door, seeing his beloved , his grumpy-ness seemed to melt away a bit.

“what is it?” Severus invited her in and closed the door behind her.

“Alright! who's ready for bread baking?”
It was a random Tuesday in the Furlong household , but one that the girls didn't have school on , so it was decided to be “bread-baking day”
“Me! Me! Me!” The girls yelled , all excited, since not only did they get to bake together , which rarely happened , Dad was staying home for the whole afternoon, so they could all bake together.
“Alright , first , we measure out the ingredients! Kathleen and Lorretta , please measure some flour ; Joan and Grace , you are in charge of the yeast ; and Shelia, you'll be handling the most important part, finding things to put in our loaf! Alright?”
“Aye, Aye , Captain!” the girls yelled excitedly and ran off with giggles to fulfill their “duties."
“They really are excited , huh" Bill pecks his wife on the cheek, with a warm smile plastered on his face.
“At least this will keep them occupied for the day.”
“I need to get a big bowl for mixing , go help and measure some water , thanks love.”
Bill smiles as he looks into her eyes and sees her serious face she only ever used for baking. He smiles an indulgent smile and walks to the sink to measures out a cup of water.
“We're back!” The girls excitedly announce.

“I found some different sorts of seeds around, mostly sunflower seeds.”
“That sounds perfect! Alright, now for everyone's favourite part , we put all of the ingredients into the bowl and mix!”
The girls were all visibly excited , and little Loretta and Grace were squealing in excitement.
After a mixing and flour party, the dough with various seeds was finished.
“Now , we'll have to wait for the dough to rest for 2 hours , meanwhile , you girls can clean yourselves up, while we all wait , okay?”

The girls went upstairs to change , shower and wash themselves, while the parents were cleaning up the mess in the kitchen.
After a while of cleaning , the girls could be heard upstairs , playing with their toys , and it gave the parents some time to lay back and relax.

Being persuaded after seeing cookbooks, decided to secretly learn how to bake, loaves , pain au chocolates , everything just either looking like a blob of mess or a piece of charcoal.
After a certain amount of money was spent on the baking , she went to find Ada for some help.
Much to her luck, with the guidance of Ada , a batch of sweet blueberry jam filled croissants came perfectly out of the oven.
After trying one herself to make sure it wasn't poisonous, she happily puts half a dozen and goes to the Garrison.
Only dating Thomas for a few months , she had barely gone to the Garrison before. So when she stepped in, a few men looked her way as they heard the door open.
Feeling the weight of their gazes , she held her basket a bit tighter , feeling the sweat condensing in the centre of her palm, her eyes quickly darting around , until she found Thomas , Arthur and John in their sofa seat, with blunts in their mouth and drinks on the table.
Walking over to the table , Thomas spotted her , and he looked into her eyes , to see why she was here.
“what's got you out of the house and up here ,love?”
“croissants, I baked ‘em" She couldn't contain the triumphant smile on her face.
“you couldn't have started with something easier , like…bread?” Thomas raised an eyebrow at her, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth when he saw her smile.
Arthur had already been faster than any of them and already snatched a croissant into his hand without anyone noticing.
“this is GOOD- didn't expect that from you, Ada helped , didn't she?”
“Hey, what is that supposed to mean?” A glare was shot at Arthur.
A chuckle came from Thomas , seeing their bantering, Thomas helped her put the basket down onto the table, and grabbed a chair and let her sit in the sofa seat while he sat in the chair instead.
“When Arthur says something is good , it's either him being drunk or it's really good , let me try one , sweetheart.”
“I told you I was going to be good!” She hands him a croissant from under the cloth in the basket, one that had the most blueberry jam in it , and the largest one.
“Did you, now?” A chuckle came after that comment.
“yes I did!”
Thomas smiles but doesn't say anything , as he splits the croissant in half , revealing the still warm blueberry jam filling , and leaving flakes over the table
“you dirtied the table-”
She takes the half of the croissant as she wipes the table to clean it.
“mm…it's warm , still.”
“yeah, of course, it's fresh!”
“mm…” Thomas eats in small bites, though his focus wasn't on the croissant.
