diary, entry 2, 09/06/2026

high school’s over, for real this time around. you’ll move several hundreds of kilometres away next year, go to college, meet new people, and never see these hallways again. but the worst thing of all is that you’ll never be able to go back. this day marks the end of your teenage years, the end of the age you see in tv shows, movies, books, and when you cross those gates for the last time, you realise you’re not coming of age anymore. a chapter of your life has closed, never to be opened again, and the only things you’re left with are a handful of pictures and some memories you know will eventually fade.

i don’t know about this, maybe it’s corny, maybe i’ll change my mind five minutes after posting and delete this. who cares. as of now, im starting to think that maybe i need somewhere to write thoughts down, so this is the first official entry (and maybe the only one). under a post i made sometime ago, i said that i felt like my life seemed not to belong or represent me. i feel like that’s not necessarily the case anymore, as after finishing all my tests (only the final exam is left, but im not worried at all so it doesn’t really count) much of the inconscious tension that i surely built up is easing. i think i feel a bit more like myself again.

one of the main points of uncertainty that remain is related to my relationships with people. i feel like my friends aren’t really friends, and even what should be unconditional love still feels weird. i think i might just have to switch things up a bit, move my life around, as i’ve always been the type to feel pinned down by routines. anyway, it’s getting better, slowly but surely, i hope.
