VUSWIFT

I am going through the hardest struggle of my life so far...and it has been quite daunting, to say the least. But thank God for all the provisions He has given me. I just know everything that He has placed in my life has a certain purpose. I am so grateful of that. Without Christ in my life, I don't know what I would do. And I am so thankful for all of the great friends I have that are already praying for me although they don't know any specific details. :')

Everyone is always amazed at my seemingly strong work ethic even though its not as strong as it should be. But why, they ask, do you work yourself so hard? Why don't you just do the bare minimum to get in to UF? Well, you want to know why? I want to leave this place behind. I know I've been blessed to have a family, a wonderful church, and great friends. But I know in my heart that if I stay here, I have to face the problems that I have at home head-on. And I'm a wimp. Or if I go to UF, ill never be able to truly be my own person because ill ALWAYS be in someone else's shadow. I work so hard to get out of the vicinity of many people in my past for college in order to have a new hope and so I can start anew. I sound so snobby, but it's what has been fueling my sleepless study nights and endurance for classes that I don't fully comprehend. Yet, the only way to get out of FL is through full scholarships, which are extremely difficult to obtain for the schools I have set out in mind. But I am willing to do anything to make the seemingly impossible possible so I can fulfill my vision of a clean slate. But at the end of the day, I have to remind myself that everything I do should be for God's Glory and for His Will, not mine's. I pray that I remember this extremely important piece of information as CommonApp opens on August 1st, as I have to study for my last shot at higher SAT scores, as I try to passionately focus on the clubs that I lead and love so much, and as I write those sentimental college essays that everybody hates. The time is here, and I can't waste it.

Um....from my own ingenuity?

Honestly, insomnia is not always such a bad thing. It's the time when one is in their most vulnerable state and where one is all alone, free to think and imagine whatever one wants. The best ideas come through insomnia. The best realizations come through insomnia. I'd love to know the statistics of important inventions and ideas that have shaped history THROUGH insomnia. My point is, there IS a point to these sleepless nights. They DO have a purpose for blocking your sleep.

Wow..so I just started using my HTC G2 that I bought last Tuesday. I haven't started before today because the girl who sold me the phone lost the charger and I thought that my chargers didn't work until today when I turned my phone over and put them in that way and wahlah! They magically fit! I was so ecstatic and immediately started using the phone. Wow...I can certainly say with conviction that I have been missing out on a lot. I've practically killed my whole Friday night playing with this thing! Lol its just so awesome...I'm so glad that I have an actual android now :D
