All of us have one, or more than one; stylish counselors, external conscience and bro’s without a d*ck. No, I’m not talking about transvestite friends, I’m talking about BFF: Best Female Friends.
A BFF is the girl that knows everything about you. No kidding. She knows your mom’s phone, she knows about that girl you had a crush on in seventh grade, she knows about that time when you fell from a slide and doesn’t make fun about that (well, after a while), she's the only girl with whom you can act like a complete fool without feeling ashamed of because she's not going to judge you and she’s the only girl that you don’t have a crush on. Basically, she’s the living proof that men and women can be friends.
As a BFF she will always be there for you, especially when you meet a girl, because they’re going to be the judges of that relationship. They act as wingmen; they give you advice of the things you need to do to impress a girl and the things you OBVIOUSLY CAN’T DO; and if you don’t have a crush, they can always introduce you to their single friends.
They also act as personal stylist. They go out with you when you need to buy a pair of jeans, and stop you from committing the greatest mistake of all: buying some leather pants on sale. Unfortunately, they make you pay for this and take you to five different stores to look at the clothes and go away without buying anything.
They’re fun. They make you laugh as no one else in the world; but they do that by making references to chick flicks such as Mean Girls or Clueless.But let’s face it, we love when they say "Boo you wh*re" or "Ugh, as if"
You can always joke with her about dirty stuff. They’re not going to judge you in fact they’ll say more dirty jokes than you.
And last, but not least, a BFF will always be there for you. Giving you advices, comforting you when you are a human bomb, and inviting ice cream during those moments when the world sucks and you are the greatest hater on it. A BFF will always listen to you, she's your sister from another mother.
So, if you have a BFF text her or call her and tell her how important she is in your life, because it’s true. And if you don’t have one, don’t worry; perhaps she’s out there, still meeting douchebags that just want to go out to get laid.
Well, so finally I want to dedicate this post to my two BFF. (Both of them celebrate their birthday this month). You know who you are, M and A. I'm lucky too have both of you in my life, and I love you both.
