Yesterday, Seven Seas Entertainment uploaded the official English cover for the third volume of Inori's Yuri light novel I'm in Love with the Villainess. The publisher also announced that the digital edition of the light novel would be released early on June 3, 2021. It will be followed by paperback editions on July 6.

The cover depicts protagonist Rae, her wife Claire, and their children, May and Aleah. When the original cover was unveiled for the Japanese release last year it made waves in the Yuri community. Depictions of lesbian women creating a family and raising children together are exceedingly rare, almost unheard of, in Yuri.

I’ve been having a lot of spare time during the weekend to read and I’ve really been enjoying web novels. Web novels are not illustrated so it feels more like reading a book and as such contain much more details and leave more things to the imagination ^^ I’ve just been reading so many manhwa and manhua thus I reached a point where I felt my appetite wasn’t being fulfilled. I actually haven’t seen anything about this on tumblr, so Here I Am.

There was a new illustration in the June issue of Monthly Asuka, along with an announcement that DNAngel would resume serialization in the July issue, which comes out on May 24th.  DNAngel will be featured on the cover, and the chapter will also open with color pages.

Akuma no Riddle (Riddle Story of Devil) is an action Yuri anime based on the manga series by Yun Kouga and illustrated by Sunao Minakata. At an academy for assassins, Myojo Academy, the twelve assassins of “10th Year Class Black” are tasked with killing the one normal girl in their ranks, Haru Ichinose. The reward? Any wish they want will be granted. However, Tokaku Azuma, one of the assassins, falls for Haru Ichinose and swears to protect her.

The 12 episodes long anime directed by Keizou Kusakawa at Studio Diomedea was released in 2014. The series is available to stream on Funimation.

Five volumes of the manga were released by Kadokawa in Japan and by Seven Seas Entertainment in North America. A supplemental doujin series, Koakuma no Riddle has published 11 volumes in Japanese since its start in 2014.
