Oh nooooooo

I had gotten a little too lackadaisical with upkeep I’m afraid ;___; I would only tend to Kitty like twice a day. I guess they had enough.

Kitty changed again! Got a big head now. This is the one they use on the packaging, and it only took me 24 days to get here gah

The chase game is just downright impossible now, I only win every few tries. Thankfully I still get awarded half a heart even if I lose, thank you Playmates ;__;

I’m PRETTY sure it grew today, I honestly didn’t notice a difference until I saw that the eating animation changed slightly.

Woke up this morning to a slightly bigger kitty!

No change yet, but thought I'd record some differences between the kitty and puppy. Kitty has a bottle for it's snack item, much more appropriate than a glass of lemonade for a puppy!

Game screen looks a little different, because this is a "Gen 2" Nano, but it functions the same. The games are "Guess Which Way I'm Pointing" and "Chase Mouse"

I'll never understand what they we're thinking when they set up the menu icons here. Pressing left or right takes you to wildly different areas of the screen, instead of in order. What's interesting though, is that they ARE in order from the Gen 1 Nano. On the Gen 1 it goes "food, sleep, game, doctor, bath, scale, discipline, alert"

Nano Puppy

An update on the nighttime hunger pains-- this is a hypothesis of mine: When going to bed as usual (lights out, not sick), the hunger drops at a usual rate. HOWEVER, it will not drop below that last half-heart until the morning. This way, the attention signal does not go off at night. When going to bed sick, the hunger bar empties completely. This causes the attention signal to go off, since by that time, you will also need to give your puppy it's second shot. I need to do one more test to confirm, but this is what I believe.

Nano Puppy

Not much to post, but I wanted to add a few notes.

Puppy is getting slower at the Fetch game as he ages. What used to take him like 3 seconds as a puppy is taking him about 10, now.

While sleeping, the discipline and happiness bars do not change. The HUNGER BAR, however, drops at the usual rate. I don't know if this is just for the adult form or what, but it causes the !? signal to off while he's sleeping.

As a side note, I wonder if it has anything to do with me not turning the lights off on time? Or because he went to bed in need of another shot? I'll test that tomorrow.

Nothing too special happened, but he turned 30 today! er, yesterday. (the 6th) The battery is starting to fade now, I wonder if it'll die before he does? I have checked and confirmed that even while sleeping, not sick, and the lights out, the hunger bar still drops at his usual rate. This is kind of annoying. I do not know if it'll go below the last half-heart while he's sleeping though, so I'll keep an eye on it.

WOW. Just when I thought it was finished surprising me! 34 and still going!

He's changed AGAIN! My goodness puppy, you've gained some weight, haven't you?

He's showing his age, now. He moves around a lot slower, and spends a lot of time laying down.
