19 Courting The Night

And again some sad news: “Dexter” composer Daniel Licht (here right besides Michael C. Hall) passed away at the age of 60 yesterday.

This picture was made at a live concert with Licht and “Dexter”´s theme song  composer Rolfe Kent (at Michael ´s left side) which featured songs from the soundtracks, played live from an orchestra, and was introduced from Michael himself.

Here is what Michael had to say about the music

Hall told The Hollywood Reporter that he believes that the music plays a key role in the show. “I feel like it’s a fundamental part, as much as any character,” Hall said. “The aural landscape that is created, that Dan creates, that Rolfe creates with his main title music – it really sets the tone for us. It is as a fundamental part of the show as aesthetics.”

“I didn´t use these but I´m  feeling all the feelings. At once. It´s like a jumble inside me.”
