here’s my first attempt at a sanders sides fic! i’m sure there will be a lot more coming so just… prepare for that i guess?

it’s anxceit centered (with a very slight nod to logicality), because they’re my faves and i love them and i wonder a lot about their past. be warned that there are spoilers from SvS and SvS redux.

tw: emotional abuse; scale touching. rating: R just because there are a few curses inside, this is not a smutty fic though so you’re good if you don’t wanna read that.

we’ve already seen that logan’s a great gift giver as well (such as him giving virgil an audiobook voucher as his secret santa present to help him calm down when his anxiety is flaring up, and also with patton’s cat hoodie, which pertains to his interest in cats and his aesthetic while also being more practical than his onesie) probably due to the fact that he’s extremely observant and so is able to notice others needs and interests. for example, in ‘fitting in’, we see that logan is the one who is aware of thomas’ friends interests (when he lists off very specific things that talyn enjoys). it’s possible that maybe logan demonstrates that he cares about others through giving gifts- as they show that he pays attention to their interests- and so he really enjoys birthdays and other holidays????

also he probably enjoys organising things?? imagine all the planning he can do for the others’ birthdays- he allocates specific tasks to everyone to prepare for the event, and makes a full day itinerary of things he thinks the other sides will enjoy and wants everything to go perfectly so that they can all have a great day-

ALSO the fact that on his own birthday he argued that the idea was nonsensical and “it’s not my birthday!!” yet will celebrate the other sides birthdays???????? maybe he likes celebrating with the others because he knows it’s important to them but doesn’t want a fuss to be made about him??
