I've been playing pokemon white this week while on a long trip and it made me really appreciate unova as a region. I love the choice of giving us only new regional dex, it gives the feeling of unova taking place far awey from the other regions and makes the gameplay refreshing.

Galvantula Chandelure and Reuniculus were always one of my favs, but while playing Stautland and Simisear (the fire monkey I always hated) grew on me a big lot too. I must say this is the most fun I had playing a pokemon game in a while I love the look and feel of it!!

The animated sprites in gen 5 are (in my opinion) the best choice for pokemon games they have real character and make the game feel lively and the fights dynamic. Environments are also a big part of why the game feels so lively! Every place is a bit diffrent and you can see the diffrence in the local ecosystems. The towns and cities feel lived in with all the houses you can go into and diffrent NPCs who each have their own thing to say, it makes the towns in newer pokemon games look really really bad.

okeeeey thats the end of my rant :^P I never post things like that but this time I reallyyy had to get it out of my system, plus I like the idea of using this as a bit of an old fashioned blog where I can share my thoughts. I dont expect anyone to read it this was mostly for myself but if someone did you're welcome to share your own thoughts :^) .
