Growing up an orphan in Zaun left you with more concerning things to worry about than learning how to read and write. You had left Zaun for Piltover months ago and were trying to make an honest living with topsiders no matter how hard it was to ignore the habits of your upbringing. At the very least, you donât have to worry about fighting for your life and committing crimes to survive anymore.Â
After meeting Professor Heimerdinger in a market by helping him find an obscure piece of machinery for an experiment, he offered you a job as an assistant for his students at the Academy. You were smart, but thereâs no way someone like you couldâve made it into the Academy. Unfortunately, now that you were no longer a child, it was far too embarrassing to have to ask someone to teach you how to read and write, especially a topsider working at the Academy⌠where smart people work.
Somehow, youâve been able to make it quite far without needing those skills. Being able to understand directions and familiar symbols made it easy for you to follow orders and tasks given to you by the people you were assigned to work under at the academy.Â
Your most recent assignment has been helping Viktor and Jayce with their Hextech research. Youâd spent the past few weeks picking up parts, delivering messages, and even getting lunch a few times for the two Hextech scientists, Gods know they wouldnât get it themselves if you didnât do it for them. You had been breezing by with the tasks they had given you so far, until Viktor asked you to take a look at his research one evening.
Jayce had gone home for the night seeing as it was well past dinner time at this point but, in typical Viktor fashion, he was still working away diligently at his desk.

Jayce had gone home for the night seeing as it was well past dinner time at this point but, in typical Viktor fashion, he was still working away diligently at his desk.
âIâve been trying for days to figure out what Iâm doing wrong, Jayce has wandered off, and I could use a fresh set of eyes before I go insane trying to figure this out.âÂ
Your stomach drops as he hands you the stack of papers you know you arenât going to be able to decipher. Embarrassment floods your cheeks as you stare down at the swirls of letters and numbers you have no hope of understanding.Â
âI, uh, no sorry, I canât, but I-Iâm sure you could ask Jayce tomorrow, go home and sleep,â you stutter out, shoving the papers back into his arms a little rougher than you intended. Your eyes sting with tears and you hoped you had managed to turn around before he saw. You scurried out of the lab as fast as your feet could carry you leaving behind a perplexed Viktor to figure out what the hell he possibly could have done to make you so upset.
You considered skipping work the next day, but you couldnât do that to the boys, so you put on your best smile and pushed open the doors to the lab, ready to make it look as though you were unbothered by yesterday's events.Â
Viktor tried to catch your eye the whole day, to no avail. You were outright refusing to make eye contact with the man you had lashed out at yesterday for no good reason other than your own embarrassment. You stayed on the opposite side of the lab, tinkering with some spare parts they had discarded during various experiments to keep yourself busy, totally not to avoid questions from Viktor, unless one of the two scientists needed anything, but it had seemed to be a relatively slow day, so it was no surprise when Jayce left early.Â
You waved goodbye to the larger man as he left, but stayed huddled at your desk, a small area tucked into the corner of the lab that the boys were nice enough to set aside for you when you first arrived. After Jayce left, the air was filled with suffocating silence, your wish to leave for the day nearly outweighing your obligation to science.Â
Your internal debate was interrupted by your chair being spun around and your body caged in by Viktor. You yelp as the sudden movement knocks you out of your thoughts, cheeks flushing red at the lack of space between your bodies.Â
âH-how can I help you?â you stutter out, looking anywhere but his eyes. You felt his calloused fingers gently take hold of your jaw, tilting your head up to look him in the eyes.Â
âWhat have I done wrong?â He looks genuinely concerned but determined to find answers, prepared to keep you here until youâve answered his questions.
âYou havenât done a thing, I promise, I was just tired last night is all.â You let out a nervous laugh, waving a hand dismissively, hoping heâd believe your lie. Unfortunately, Viktor was too perceptive for his own good and didnât move an inch.Â
âPlease donât lie to me.â He looked desperate at this point. His words were a near whisper and his eyes were pleading with you to tell him the truth. Your eyes squeeze shut in embarrassment and you let out a dejected sigh.Â
âI canât read.â You mumble out, hardly loud enough for him to hear you.Â
He lets go of your face and looks at you confused. âWhat?âÂ
Your gaze drops to your lap, hair hiding your face, and you fiddle with your fingers nervously. âIâm from the undercity, Viktor.â Tears sting your eyes and you look up at the man who has now taken a step back to listen intently to what you have to say. âI didnât⌠exactly have parents to look after me so⌠I had to do it myself, you know how it is down there.â A couple drops land in your lap and you swipe at your face, not wanting to cry in front of him. âNo one was there to teach me⌠how to read, or write. So, I donât know how and Iâve been too embarrassed to ask anyone to teach me because Iâm a grown adult who doesnât know how to read or write and thatâs why I couldnât read your notes last night and I got defensive about it because youâre the smartest person I know and I donât want you to think Iâm just another idiot from Zaun. Iâm sorry, please don't tell anyone.âÂ
You couldnât help but start rambling, trying to recover any ounce of dignity you might have left as more tears drip down your face. He doesnât answer for a few seconds and regret sets in. âYou know what, nevermind, I-I shouldnât have-â he interrupts you, kneeling in front of you and gently taking your hands in his. Your words die in your throat and you look into his eyes. All you can see behind them is kindness and he reaches up to wipe your tears away.Â
âYou donât need to be embarrassed about something like that, my dear. If you would like to learn, I can teach you. Youâve done so much for us since youâve arrived, itâs time we help you out in return.â He brushes the remaining tears off your face. Your heart flutters at his words and you give him a teary smile.Â
âThank you,â you nearly whisper, reaching you and pulling him into a tight hug. âFor not making fun of me.â Â
He hugs you back just as tight, deeply inhaling your scent. âAnything for you,â he mumbles into your hair.

A few days later, you met with Viktor in the Academy library for the first time. He was waiting in the back corner, a stack of books on the table. He greeted you with a smile, pulling out the chair next to him. You took it, fiddling with your fingers nervously.
âYou know, you don't have to do this if you don't want to.â He reaches out to stop your fidgeting hands, drawing your attention.
âI wouldnât have offered it if I didnât want to help you.â He gives you a reassuring smile that has you melting into a puddle in your chair. He lets go of your hands and you miss the warmth instantly. He twists away from you and pulls out a few pens and pieces of paper, setting it in front of you gently.Â
âWeâll start with this.â He holds up a pen. âWhat hand do you use the most? The one that feels the most natural when you use it?â You hold up that hand and he sets the cold pen in your open palm. âThis is your dominant hand and the one youâre going to use to write with.âÂ
It feels awkward in your hand but you click in on, fingers wrapped around it uncomfortably. He shakes his head with an encouraging smile and he reaches out to help. His fingers wrap around your wrist, pulling your hand closer to him. He adjusts your grip, âYouâll want these two fingers underneath supporting it. These two on top and wrap your thumb around to hold it all together and⌠there you go, youâre perfect!â He guides your fingers into place with his words, calloused fingers brushing against yours. He praises your success, turning your cheeks red and bringing a shy smile to your lips as your heart flutters at the praise.
He lets go and slides the paper closer to you. Thereâs a row of scribbles across the top of the page. A pointed finger slides under the writing. âThis is the alphabet, can you copy them underneath for me?â
Your fingers readjust to hold the pen the way Viktor had taught you and you begin to write. Your tongue pokes out of the corner of your mouth as you focus intently on replicating the letters properly, swirling the pen along the paper as you begin learning the shape of the alphabet.
You let out a little giggle when you finish writing, pointing out your handwriting. âI think Iâm giving you a run for your money for who has the worst handwriting.âÂ
He narrows his eyes at you playfully, âMy handwriting is beautiful thank you very much.â He pulls the paper closer, reviewing your work with a pleased hum. You watch his eyes scan across the page, getting caught up in your admiration of the man next to you. He turns back to you and you snap out of it, gaze darting back to the paper. âGood job, now do it again.â He pushes the paper back towards you and you nod, beginning the alphabet over again, this time much quicker.
The two of you continue for several hours, any noise in the library fading away as time ticks by. By the time you were finished, everyone else had gone home. You had mastered the alphabet during this time, learning the pronunciation for every letter and youâd even started learning how to write out small sentences. You let out a loud yawn, eyes fluttering tiredly.
âWe can stop if youâre tired.â You go to protest, not wanting your time together to end but youâre interrupted by another yawn. He laughs and begins gathering the papers and pens that had been haphazardly tossed all over the table during your lesson. You stand to help him pack up, reaching for a pen at the same time as Viktor. Your hands touch and you pull away, stuttering out an apology with a blush dusting your cheeks. You donât notice the matching blush Viktor adorns as you turn to collect the remaining papers on the table. You hand them over to him and he neatly tucks them away.
âLet me walk you back to your dorm, itâs late, you shouldnât go alone.â He insists, quickly gathering his things to follow you out of the library. You smile sweetly at him and nod, âIâd love that.â
The walk to your dorm is pleasant, filled with friendly chatter and you arrive at your dorm quicker than you had hoped it would take. You turn to your companion, fishing around in your bag for your keys.
âWell, this is me.â Your keys slip out of your fingers as you pull them out of your bag, clattering against the ground and you frown, kneeling down to pick them up. Your keys had fallen between his shoes⌠his shoes that are attached to his legs, which are attached toâŚÂ
Your face changes shades and your wide eyes dart up to meet his gaze. A smirk rests on his lips and he stares back with a lifted brow.
âYou know, if anyone were to stumble upon us, they may find this situation rather⌠compromising.â he teases at the suggestive position youâd put yourself in, amusement clear on his face. You snatch up your keys from the floor and stand rather abruptly.
âSorry I should go, goodnight Viktor. Get some rest.â You turn to unlock your door, clearly flustered by situations youâd put yourself in moments ago.Â
He chuckles softly, âGoodnight y/n, Iâll see you tomorrow.â
You practically slam the door in his face, burying your face in your hands, back pressed against the door. âI cannot believe I just did that, what is wrong with me?â you think to yourself. Though, one thought keeps nagging at your brain. âHe seemed pleased to see you in that⌠compromising position.â Your stomach flutters at the thought but you quickly shake it away as the click of Viktorâs cane and his footsteps fade away.

The next time you meet up, Viktor teaches you how to read. After learning the sounds the letters make in the last lesson, you feel confident in your ability to try reading full words. You were expecting to start with something small but any hopes of that were dashed when Viktor sets one of his research notebooks in front of you. He teaches you by first reading an entry himself and then handing it to you to read it back to him, reminding you that words are usually spelled how theyâre spoken. You catch on quick, praises falling from Viktorâs lips every time you make it through a sentence or two without stumbling too much. You canât deny the flutter in your belly at every praise.Â
You start the next sentence, pausing after a few words because you canât quite seem to get it.Â
Exponentially.Â
You sound it out silently but youâve never heard a word that sounds like the one youâre trying to say so youâre positive youâre pronouncing it wrong. You give a little huff of frustration, your nose scrunches cutely and a pout pulls at your lips, looking to Viktor for guidance.Â
âI donât know this one.â you mumble, your finger tracing a line under the word so he knows which one youâre talking about. Viktor leans over to you but canât quite see which word youâre referring to. He grabs your wrist with one hand, pulling you in closer to him, the other hand falling to your thigh. Heat blossoms on your cheeks and your gaze darts down to his large hand resting perfectly on your thigh, like it belonged there.
âExponentially.â he sounds it out for you. âThe âtiâ in the middle is sounded out like a âshâ in shape.â You turn your head as he speaks, noses mere inches apart.Â
You give it a shot, sounding out the word perfectly, the hint of Viktorâs distinct accent slipping into your whispered words. Your gaze flits down to his lips briefly before sliding back to his eyes. Heâs watching you intently.Â
âGood work.â he practically purrs, giving your thigh a squeeze. Your eyes flutter closed and you shiver, his words having a dangerous effect on you. They snap back open when he leans back, his posture relaxing as his hand slips from your thigh. A cold feeling is left where his hand was mere seconds ago.
âContinue,â he instructs and you follow his command without a second thought. âInteresting.â Viktor thinks to himself with a pleased hum.Â
That study session ends with Viktor walking you back to your dorm as usual, this time without the added embarrassment of being on your knees in front of him, looking like you were ready to suck his dick if he asked.Â
~+~
Youâd done it!Â
You could finally read all the way through Viktorâs notes with little to no struggle! You practically ran to the lab, slamming the doors open, a wide grin gracing your features.Â
âViktor, I did it!â you cheer, running up to said man and pulling him into a tight hug. You have the brightest smile on your face heâs seen yet and his heart swells with pride at your accomplishment. He abandons whatever it is he was working on to celebrate with you, hugging you back just as tight. He leans back a few inches, his hands sliding up from your back to cup your cheeks. âI knew you could do it, Iâm so proud of you.â His thumbs brush softly against your cheekbones and your heart rate speeds up. Your eyes dart down to his lips and you canât hold back anymore, they were practically inviting you in. Fuck it, you lean up and attach your lips to his and he⌠doesnât react.Â
Oh fuck. You jerk your head back, shame and regret churning in your stomach. âIâm sorry, I shouldnât have done that, fuck, Iâm so sorry.â Tears prickle your eyes and you squirm out of Viktorâs grasp, setting his notebook back on his desk before making a beeline for the doors to avoid further humiliation.
He calls out to you but you canât bring yourself to turn around, all but sprinting back to your dorm. You hastily unlock the door, slamming it behind you as the tears finally spill down your cheeks. âGods, Iâm such an idiot. I canât believe I just ruined the best thing that's ever happened to me.âÂ
You toss your bag onto your desk and manage to bump into the chair in the process. You curse angrily and shove it, knocking it over in anger. The radiating pain in your hip sends you into a spiral, overwhelmed by your emotions. You let yourself slump to the floor, furiously wiping the tears away as sobs wrack your chest. A knock taps against your door and your cries cease, hoping whoever it was would think you arenât home and go away.
âY/n, may I come in?â Your favorite accented voice, but the very last one you want to hear right now, calls out from the other side of the door. You sniffle but stay silent, hoping heâll just assume you arenât here or leave you alone.Â
He knocks again but it wonât matter, you locked the door so itâs only a matter of time before he gets tired of waiting around and leaves because you are not going to let him in. You hear him fiddling with the handle and a few short seconds later the door clicks open.Â
Did he just pick my lock? You stare incredulously at the entrance, watching Viktor step into your room. Your eyes were no doubt red and your cheeks were still stained with tears so you duck your head down, not wanting him to know youâd been crying. You also couldnât bring yourself to look at him, the rejection still burning raw in your heart. You hear a soft thud and look up, watching Viktor set his cane against his desk before he struggles to sit down in front of you, trying to catch your eye. Your gaze darts back down to the floor when he settles in front of you. What you arenât expecting is for him to reach out, fingers curling under your chin and tilting your head back up to look at him. Your lower lip wobbles as tears spring back up in your eyes, an apology spilling from your lips.Â
âViktor, Iâm sorry, I shouldnât have done that to you, I just got excited and I-â Your words die on your lips when his fingers grip your jaw a little tighter, pulling you roughly into a kiss.Â
âStop talking,â he mumbles against your lips, his other hand sliding to your waist to pull you into his lap. You stiffen but only for a moment, before melting into his touch.Â
The kiss is needy, desperate, releasing the tension that had built up between you two all those late nights in the library. His hands are greedy, grabbing at every inch of you he could get a hold of. They finally settle at your hips, his touch burning at your skin and igniting a fire in your belly like never before. You grind down against Viktor and he lets out a soft groan, fingernails digging into the flesh of your hips as he struggles to ground himself.Â
You pull away from the kiss, panting for air and resting your forehead against his, stopping yourself before you can get too lost in him. You canât keep the grin tugging at your lips at bay and press another sweet kiss against his lips.Â
âI hope this means you like me back?â Your words come out as more of a question than a statement.
âIt would be foolish to attempt to deny it my dear. I did chase you down, break into your room, and make out with you on the floor after all.â His hands come to rest on your cheeks, brushing away any stray tears that linger with his thumbs. âNow, let's get back to work.â
Itâs a few hours later and any tension that had been stuffing up the room for the past few weeks had now dissipated, leaving only the happiness of confessed and reciprocated feelings floating around the two of you. You sat at your desk scribbling away with the papers and pens Viktor had gifted you for finishing his journal for the first time. Your bottom lip is trapped between your teeth as you focus on making your writing as neat as possible and Viktor canât stop his attention from straying over to you as the two of you work.
You finish your work, holding it in front of you with a content smile. You let it flutter back down to the desk and toss your stuff back into your bag, planning to head home for the day. You swing in over your shoulder, holding your work tenderly between your fingers, careful not to bend or fold it.Â
You walk past his desk with a smile and a wave, âSee you tomorrow, Vik, have a good night.â The paper slips from your fingers as you walk away, floating down to settle in front of him.
He picks up the note curiously, not having time to question you before you're gone with a soft click of the lab doors closing. He opens up the folded piece of paper and laughs, lightly brushing his fingers along the words youâd spent so long perfecting for him.
âI love you, Viktorâ with a little heart doodled next to the words you scrawled on the note for him. His heart flutters when he reads it, honored that he was the one you chose to dedicate your love to and declared it using something he taught you how to do.
He gently folds it back up, tucking it into his favorite notebook for safekeeping, likely something heâll be keeping forever. Youâre already long gone by now but heâll certainly be expressing the sentiment in return the next time he sees you.
Synopsis: It was your first Christmas without your family and you were spending it alone, holed up in the lab, distracting yourself with excessive decorating of the lab and your newest creation. That is until your fellow Hextech scientist shows up.
Word Count: 2k
A/N: This request hit a little too close to home this year so I felt like I needed to write it to get the feels out, hope everyone had a good holiday <3
Tip Jar
The lab was quieter than it had ever been before. Your two partners had gone home for the weekend, likely to spend the holidays with their families. As much as you had wished to join them in celebrating with your own family, it wasnât in the cards for you this year.
Ever since your move from Zaun to Piltover to pursue your studies, it had gotten harder and harder to stay in contact with your family. This year, you hadnât even received a letter back when you wrote to your parents, asking whether you should come home or have them visit you for the holidays. It hurt you a little more than you were willing to admit to yourself.
No matter how many decorations youâd strung up in the lab and how hard you had thrown yourself into your most recent project, you couldnât shake the ache of loneliness from your heart. Two neatly wrapped gifts sat under the small Christmas tree youâd decorated earlier once Jayce and Viktor had left, one for each of them to open once theyâd returned from their holiday celebrations.
You tinker quietly at your workstation, notes scattered across the desk and a pen tucked behind your ear as you make adjustments to the gadget in front of you. You flick it on, a hopeful grin on your face that soon disappears when nothing happens.
You let out a frustrated sigh, slumping back in your chair as you pout dejectedly at your currently failing invention. Your gaze drifts to the large windows, watching the snow swirl through the air. The falling snow draws your attention and you stand up, making your way over to the window. Below you, families wander the streets laughing happily with one another and kids play in the snow, building snowmen and having snowball fights. Your eyebrows draw together and a few tears slip down your cheeks, longing for the days where you were those people.
The sound of the lab doors opening snaps you out of your thoughts, wiping your tears away as you turn around. Viktor? Your fellow scientist makes his way into the lab, surprise evident on his face when he sees you standing in the lab. He had been anticipating it to be empty, the rest of the Academy building empty because of the holiday.
âY/N? What are you doing here? I wouldâve expected you to be out celebrating?â He steps a little further into the lab, setting his bag down on the nearest table. You give him a tight smile, hoping itâs dark enough that he canât see the remnants of tears on your face.
âCouldnât make it home this year, so I decided to celebrate⌠by myself,â you trail off, wincing at how lame you probably sounded.
He frowns a little bit, âI will be right back, my dear,â and with that, heâs gone again. You make your way back to your desk, taking a seat to wait for the man to return.
It takes him around 20 minutes to get back to the lab, this time with a delicately wrapped parcel tucked under his arm and a small tray with two drink cups balanced in his unoccupied hand. You canât help the grin that takes over your face as he sets down the cups on the surface in front of you, the present following soon after.
âFor you, Y/N, a cup of sweet milk and your present.â A fluttery feeling arises in your stomach and your eyes water for the second time today, this time for an entirely different reason than before.
You blink away your tears and spin around, âI got you a present too, let me grab it.â
He watches you as you practically bounce to the Christmas tree, bending down to pick it, turning around with it held gently in your outstretched hands, a huge grin on your face.
His eyes scan the room full of decorations you had put up earlier. âI love what youâve done with the place, very festive.â He chuckles, taking the present from you once youâre back at his side, setting it down on the table he's currently leaned against, his own cup of sweetmilk in his hands.
You pick up your cup, taking a small sip and letting out a hum of happiness. âYou sure know how to charm a girl, presents and sweetmilk, Vik? That's a one way ticket to my heart.â His blush is hidden by the darkness of the room and he pushes the gift towards you, hoping to draw your attention away from him before you take notice of his flustered state.
âOpen it.â You pick the present, instinctively giving it a little shake and giggling at your silly antics. Your fingers untie the perfectly tied bow of twine holding the parcel together and once it's undone, the paper concealing it falls away.
You canât keep the grin overtaking your features at bay and you look up at Viktor, barely able to contain your excitement.
âYou remembered?â
It was a book you had offhandedly expressed interest in months ago on a trip to the bookstore you made with the man currently in front of you. You had only mentioned wanting it that one time and you definitely hadnât expected him to remember it.
âI, uh, I actually went back later that night to buy it for you. Christmas was just the nearest reason I had to give it to you. I know itâs not much but-â You cut him off with a tight hug, wrapping your arms tightly around him and burying your face into his neck. He freezes for a moment before his arms settle around your form, pulling you tighter against him.
âI love it, Vik, thank you.â The thoughtfulness of the gift was almost overwhelming. You were genuinely surprised Viktor had remembered something like that, heâd always been the type to remember little details about people, but you were honored that he remembered something so miniscule and unimportant about you. You reluctantly pull away from him, wanting him to open the present you got him.
âYour turn.â You nearly shove the present into his chest, looking up at him expectantly with a sweet smile on your lips. He takes it from you gently, following suit in unwrapping it to reveal what's inside.
He lifts up the deep red scarf you had made for him, knitted with soft yarn youâd found at the market a while ago, the deep red reminding you of the color Viktor typically adorned the minute you saw it.
âI made it myself,â You state proudly, âDâya like it?â You question hopefully, his silent demeanor making you nervous.
âI love it, itâs perfect.â His voice is quiet and his eyes are locked on the scarf, fingers brushing against the soft material.
âWould you like to do the honors?â
He holds the scarf up to you and you gladly take it. By this time, Viktor had moved into a more comfortable position and was seated on the table you had been working on earlier, any attempt of work long discarded. You step between his legs, heart rate picking up at the close proximity of you and your fellow scientist. His hands reach out, settling on your waist to steady himself. Your cheeks flush at the touch but you try not to let it show, taking the scarf from him.
You gently wrap the scarf around his neck, making minor adjustments to make it fit more comfortably. You smile at your handiwork, eyes darting up from his neck to his eyes. His gaze had been locked on you since you stepped closer to him, your body heat radiating from you and warming the skin of his thighs where your hips rested. He never wants you to move. His golden eyes meet yours when you look up, gaze darting down to your lips for a brief, but noticeable, moment.
âYou look amazing.â Your voice is barely above a whisper now and you canât seem to tear your eyes away from him. His presence is intoxicating and you canât help but lean in, his eyes drawing you in like a moth to a flame. His hand grip at your waist a little tighter the closer you get. Your noses brush, your lips mere centimeters apart, so close yet so far away and-
A loud crash from the hallway has you jumping back a step, the noise snapping you out of the trance you had found yourself in a moment ago.
You clear your throat, now avoiding eye contact with the man you were just about to kiss and potentially ruin the professional relationship you had formed over the past few years, one that you had thought had become a close friendship at this point. A chime from the clock in the corner draws your attention and you take another step back.
âWe should probably get some sleep, Viktor. Weâll have a long day ahead of us once the weekend is over.â He nods in response, saying nothing back. You reach out a hand, helping him keep his balance as he makes his way down from the table. Once his two feet are safely planted on the ground you drop his hand, missing the warmth instantly. You move to gather your things, hearing Viktor do the same behind your turned back.
The two of you head for the doors of the lab, side by side, attempting to ignore any potential awkwardness the situation just a few minutes ago might have caused.
Viktor reaches for the door, opening it and gesturing for you to walk through first. You give him a tight smile and step out, stopping to wait for him to lock up before seeing him off for the night.
He slips his keys back into his pocket, finally meeting your eyes again.
âGoodnight Viktor, Iâll see you tomorrow, Merry Christmas.â
You turn to walk yourself to your dorm, likely to throw yourself into the book Viktor had bought you, but you're stopped by a hand wrapping around your elbow and spinning you back around. You look up at Viktor with concern, raising an eyebrow in silent questioning. He has a smirk on his face and his only response is pointing his finger in the air.
You look up, cheeks flushing at what hangs above your head. Mistletoe. Your blush deepens and your eyes dart back to his face.
Viktor lets go of your elbow, reaching up and tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. You find yourself trapped under his gaze again and when his hand settles on your cheek, you can't help but lean into it.
âIt is tradition after all.â And his lips are on yours.
It doesnât take more than a second for you to respond to the kiss, all earlier caution thrown to the wind. Itâs everything youâve ever imagined, his lips are soft against yours and you nearly get lost in the addictive feeling of the kiss. His hand stays put on your cheek holding you to him but your hands reach out, tangling in his hair and pulling him deeper into the kiss. He lets out a soft groan and it lights a fire in your belly youâve never felt before. If you had the chance you would stay like this forever.
Like all good things, it must come to an end eventually, unfortunately ending way sooner than youâd hoped and leaving you craving more. Viktorâs the one who pulls away first, cheeks flushed and practically panting when he steps back.
A smile adorns his face and his hand drops from your face, âMerry Christmas Y/N.â And with that, he turns and walks away, leaving you love struck and frozen where you stand. Once he turns the corner at the end of the hall, you manage to shake yourself out of his trance.
Your fingers lightly brush against your tingling lips, reveling in the kiss Viktor had just left you with. You smile and turn away, walking in the opposite direction Viktor had left to turn in for the night.
Maybe Christmas without your family this year wasnât that bad after all.
Hi! I was wondering if you could make a viktor x f!reader
This is my first Christmas on my own without my family and honestly Iâm kinda sad. I recently moved and have no one to celebrate with. I was just wondering if you could write a Christmas fic with viktor and reader kinda being in my situation. And viktor walking in on reader being all sad by a Christmas tree in the lab and heâs like hey I can be apart of your new Christmas tradition. Idk something sad and fluffy just because I would love a pick me up. Thank you a billion.
Also have a happy holidays and a very merry new year đ

A/N: Sorry if this doesn't compare to the other two parts. I am still sick, but I really wanted to write this part for y'all. I hope you like it, and thank you all for all of the love and support you've shown this series.
Disclaimer: In some Viktor fics, they have Viktor living at his own place outside of the University. I'm having Viktor live on campus for convenience purposes. (And you can't tell me he wouldn't wanna live as close to the lab as possible since he already spends so much time there anyway).
You stood in the kitchen long enough for the steam to dissipate from your coffee. The liquid was cold by the time you dumped it into the sink with shaky hands. You walked on weak knees, body still processing Viktorâs warmth, the friction between your legs, and the sudden loss of it. The way he eyed you, gaze dripping with hunger. A flicker of amusement. A dash of teasing. You were so close. Embarrassingly close, and whether he knew or not, all you could do was stand there when he left. You hadnât even cum; you had to recover from him.
Because I want to know if youâre as sweet as I imagine you are.
You repeated his words so much youâd lost count. Each time elicited a different reaction. A sigh, a quiet moan or groan, a shiver and shudder. A moment with closed eyes, leaning against the counter, replaying the kiss. The touches. His thigh between your legs.
You pinched the bridge of your nose. There was too much to focus on. His words. Needing to be at his bedroom at midnight--or, more like half-past if you were being realistic; Viktor never got out of the lab on time. Him remembering the couch incident. The note he had on it. The note you both really wanted to read and to never, ever look at. A real conundrum, that one. And the fact that your mind kept circling back to Viktorâs comment.
Heâs thought about you. Heâs thought about what you tasted like. And from there, it was rapid-fire images of what Viktor might be doing when he thought about that. When his gaze would occasionally linger on you randomly. Or maybe when heâs in the lab late at night, mind fried from tinkering, and it just drifts off into the recesses of his thoughts. Perhaps when heâs alone in his room, head thrown back against his pillow, hand snaking down his abdomen-
âGet it together.â You smacked your face gently. âYou still have a couple of hours to kill. Youâre going to lose it if you donât get it together.â
And for some frustrating reason, you honed in on the journal. Youâd had it in your grasp and youâd only managed to read three entries. It made you vibrate. You wanted to read more. Very specifically, the couch entry, even if the idea made embarrassment churn in your stomach. But it wasnât like Viktor was just going to hand the book back over to you. He had practically just taken it from you. There was no way you were getting it back. And going back to the lab was out of the question. That meant youâd see Viktor. And you couldnât see Viktor. Not until midnight. Not until you were outside his room waiting for him to show up.
That of which took an agonizingly long time to reach. More time was spent in the kitchen than youâd admit to yourself, let alone to Viktor. Regaining your composure wasnât an easy job, especially shutting down the endless thoughts about the man. Then you paced the building, the library, even stopped by the dining hall before it closed. Despite the determination to not return to the lab, you seemed to want to tease yourself as your path accidentally brought you past the place more than once. You could hear Viktor and Jayce talking through the door, each indistinguishable word making your anticipation grow.
The fourth time you passed it, when you were deliberating going back to the library to throw yourself into some academic texts--surely studying would help you pass the time--the door cracked open. You froze as Jayce looked at you with bewilderment before he crossed his arms and smiled.
âCan I help you, (Y/N)?â
âI canât sleep.â It wasnât a lie. But you also werenât trying. You certainly werenât about to tell Jayce you were killing time before going to Viktorâs room. Your eyes narrowed and you peeked into the empty lab. âNo Viktor?â
âNo, he went to get a second cup of coffee. The first wasnât doing much for him apparently.â
Excitement lit a flame beneath your feet, but you held still. You had to play this carefully. Viktorâs notebook was most likely still in the lab. You could work this to your advantage. You totally could. All Viktor had to do was leave it out in the open. Jayce hadnât seen you give the notebook back, so you were in the clear. You grinned and Jayce eyed you with amusement.
âWhat?â He asked, leaning against the doorframe.
âIâm out of reading material. Would you guys mind sparing a book for the night?â
Jayce studied you for a moment before stepping aside. âAlways.â
You werenât sure how much time you had before Viktor would be back, so you made quick work of pretending to look at the scattered books they had about. Flipping through some academic texts, some of their fully-filled journals tossed aside. But you couldnât find it, and hope was steadily dwindling. Stuck having to pick something, you opted for some of Jayceâs original notes on magic. You always enjoyed reading those, seeing how far he and Viktor have come with Hextech.
Jayceâs voice rang out in the room just as you were about to lift it.
âLooking for anything in particular?â
âNo-â you started to answer, turning halfway to face him. Your words caught in your throat as Jayce held up Viktorâs journal. That journal. Your eyes met his. If heâd read any of it, you and Viktor were very much not in the clear. Jayce shrugged and held it out.
âI noticed you reading it earlier.â He leaned back against a workstation as you hesitantly took the book. âIâve been banned from reading it--Heimerdinger, too. âThese are for something else Iâm working on, my eyes only.â But if he let you read it earlier, I see no problem with letting you finish it.â
You rolled your shoulders and eyed the journal in your hands. So he hadnât read it. That was a relief. A major one.
âThank you.â You raise it in recognition. âItâs a...compelling read.â
âItâs Viktorâs notes; of that I have no doubt.â Jayceâs laugh echoed in the vast room and you stuffed the book under your arm.
âAlright, Iâll let you return to your scientific studies,â you raised your hands and wiggled your fingers and Jayce laughed once more. âMake sure you arenât up too late. Viktor, too. Get some rest for once.â
You started towards the door and nearly tripped over yourself as Jayce spoke.
âOh, donât worry, Viktorâs already said he has to bow out at midnight. So perhaps heâll actually get a decent nightâs sleep for once.â
You closed the door with a gentle click behind you. If the night was going in the direction you were hoping, Viktor wouldnât be getting much sleep. And neither would you. But first, you had a journal entry to read.
You skimmed a few others as you sat in the lounge area on Viktorâs floor. Each floor had them and, as if the universe and fate were on your side, it was only a few doors down from Viktorâs room. It was comprised of two couches, four chairs, a coffee table, and a side area with a few tables to sit and work at. You sat on a couch, eying the hallway as you skipped through the journal, too nervous to get totally comfortable.
None of the entries stood out. Some had the same observations as before. You sneaking glances that you didnât think Viktor had noticed. Hands lingering whenever you helped him with something, or how you seemed to grow nervous if his even dared to rest on you a second longer than socially acceptable. And then, after a solid hour of skimming, you got to the couch entry. You took a slow breath as you started reading.
It was dated two weeks after the snack entry. The as sweet as I imagine she is entry.
She fell asleep on me. First, my shoulder. Then my lap. I must admit I sort of guided her there. She seemed vastly uncomfortable with her head on my shoulder. We were on the couch in the lab, sitting dangerously close to each other. Pointlessly, if I think about it, other than to give away that I enjoyed being near her. There was much more room on the couch for us. But Iâve always sat near the center, so I decided to stick with that. It brought me directly next to her and neither of us moved. Each time our elbows touched, her eyes flickered with something that might be read as mischievous or something else I cannot quite pinpoint. I found myself accidentally nudging her as much as she was doing it to me.
Shortly after, she fell asleep, and the desire seemed to transfer from her to me. The next thing I knew, I was adjusting my position so that the both of us could rest. I fell asleep almost instantly. Any attempts at continuing to read were futile with her on top of me.
It was one of the best naps Iâve ever had. But thatâs beside the point.
Your heart skipped a beat. Most of what you remembered from that afternoon was what occurred after waking up, but the more you thought about it, the more you hadnât wanted to wake up. Itâd been so nice, his arm around your waist, him beneath you. Maybe those feelings were more reciprocated than youâd realized. But that wasnât something you could dwell on at the moment.
You turned the page and your brows rose; it was a long entry.
I awoke around the same time she had. Iâd felt her shifting above me and it became clear that she was trying to figure out how to get off of me without waking me. In an attempt to rectify the situation, to let her know that I was, in fact, awake, I found her in a state that can only be described with the word flustered. Hair a tad askew, eyes wide, bottom lip trapped between her teeth. Her breathing was erratic, and her back--at least from my position--appeared to be arched. I shifted beneath her and I discovered what had put her in such a state. One cannot control where their legs end up while they sleep, especially in such a narrow sleeping area.
Her eyes locked on mine. Her pupils were dilated. I knew she was going to bolt before she even moved.
I have another theory. One that is far more...interesting than my last.
One that I cannot help but be hopeful for, even if it might be inappropriate between colleagues. But I have to test my first theory, first. Otherwise, this theory is just based on misread observations. And although I may not be the most knowledgeable on what a person may look like when they enjoy something beyond the realms of, for lack of a better term, platonic enjoyment, she seemed to look at me after waking with the same hunger Iâve imagined sheâd look at someone sheâs interested in.
Frustratingly, I fear this afternoon will remain with me for far longer than it should. Itâs hard to put aside such memories when sheâs in them. When sheâs looking at me like fireâs flickering behind her eyes, a flame so hot it spreads to me with even the briefest touch.
I am hoping both of my theories are correct. But I donât believe I will be that fortunate.
You swallowed back an onslaught of thoughts. Where were you even supposed to begin? Viktor enjoyed sitting so close to you? Heâd cared about how comfortable you were when sleeping so he brought your head to his lap? He had the best nap heâd ever had while you were sleeping on top of him? How he knew you were flustered, why you were flustered, and if his words could be interpreted as such, knew how much you desired more of him? And the fact that he wanted you just as bad as you wanted him?
Your time together in the kitchen settled like a spark in water, shooting out through your entire body. Heâd already answered some of those questions then, but reading his thoughts leading up to it, seeing how he thought about you, it was just fanning the uncontrollable flames that were spreading across your face. Your leg bounced as you aimlessly scanned the entry. You reread it once, twice, going back to read the previous three before you noticed there were two new entries.
One from last night that was one line: My theory was correct. And one with todayâs date. You scoffed. The bastard had already written about the kitchen. Yet, as you started to read, it seemed to be more like a journal entry. More personal than observational. And it was not short.
I was right, on both counts. She came into the kitchen around the same time Iâd decided I needed a burst of energy. Iâd been distracted in the lab until then; I needed a breather. It seemed fate had decided to pluck her from my thoughts and place her right in front of me. She seemed just as excited to see me. Nervous in a way that drew her near to me. I expected her to put distance between us after what happened last night, but she seemed quite happy to be beside me.
We made small talk. It didnât last long. How could it when she looked like she wanted to...devour me? The feeling was reciprocated. Especially after sheâd read the prototype entry. I must guiltily admit the idea of...devouring her hadnât left my mind since sheâd left the lab. So I broached the topic. She responded by bringing her mouth to mine. And it was like all thoughts had left my mind. All I could focus on was her.
She pulled me to her, hard. Like she couldnât get enough of me.
Things happened in a haze then. She tugged my hair as she held me close, kissed me as if she wasnât going to see me again, and she sighed even when all I did was lower my hands. My desire to test my second theory grew exponentially, so I indicated for her to sit on the counter. Unhygienic given where we were, but I wasnât about to pause the moment simply to leave the kitchen. Neither of our rooms were close and I feared if I let the moment slip, I might not get another opportunity. She seemed eager to listen when she hopped up immediately. It made my heart race.
Iâd planned on dropping to my knees as soon as Iâd gotten her coat off. But the sounds she was making whenever I kissed her jaw were too intoxicating. So I savored it. I wanted to know exactly what made her eyes close and those sighs leave her lips. And then she pointed out a rather important aspect: the kitchen door was still wide open. And she did not seem interested in me stepping away from her to close it. So I told her to keep quiet. She didnât seem happy with that request, given its one-sided nature and very quickly proved that we both needed to keep a watch on our volume.
The open door meant I was limited on where the moment would lead. And as badly as I wanted to find myself beneath her skirt, it didnât seem appropriate when someone could walk by and see. Although, the way her heart seemed to race under my lips when I kissed her neck, she didnât seem to mind the potential nature of getting caught.
So I decided on a different option. One that came when my thoughts began to return. Sheâd said sheâd only read three entries: âDrunk Jayce,â the prototype, and the one of our time in the kitchen yesterday. I felt obligated to remind her of another moment, one of an entry Iâm sure she wouldâve enjoyed reading. One that sparked a second theory that, until recently, I hadnât any hope of being proven true.
It was a sight. Her trying to control herself. As Iâve mentioned before, I am not the most astute when it comes to activities such as this. But I can say with confidence that she wanted more. And I must admit I acted rather rudely, pulling away suddenly. But the idea of leaving her...wanting...when I never thought sheâd ever think of me in such a way, it was, in a way, bittersweet. I wanted to save it. When I could have her alone, in a space where we could both be vulnerable. When I could savor every second of it. I knew she was interested in coming to my bedroom later in the evening, but after that, I had no idea.
Perhaps I must work to observe and formulate a third theory.
But first, however, I must survive the night. I fear time cannot pass fast enough. I cannot wait to see if she tastes as sweet as Iâve imagined she does. And she seems just as eager for me to find out.
âRemind me to tell Jayce that you are also banned from reading my notes.â Viktorâs soft voice drifted in from the doorway. He looked disheveled, leaning his weight on his cane, eyeing the notebook in your hand with a heated gaze.
âItâs early,â you said as you glanced at a wall clock. Thirty minutes early. âYouâre early.â
âThat,â he took a step towards you, âis what I was going to say to you.â
You closed the book before he could see which entry you were reading, and he cocked a brow in response.
âI didnât exactly have anything to do.â You bit your lip as you skated your eyes over him once more. You wanted to take him right on the couch. âMy apologies.â
âCome,â he whispered as he turned, and the single word made you shiver. Youâd hoped youâd hear him say that later, in a different context. He paused when you didnât immediately follow him. âUnless youâve changed your mind.â
âI havenât,â you blurted out. You were on your feet instantly, following quickly behind him.
You walked in silence to his room, the sound of his cane echoing down the vast hallway with each step. His clothes were rumpled, shoulders slightly slumped, and the bags under his eyes a tad darker and puffier than they were earlier. You bit your lip once more as he fumbled with his keys.
âVik, if youâre too tired-â
His door unlocked and swung open. He stole a glance at you, acting as if he was trying to read something around your words and on your face. Then he smiled an almost goofy grin. It wouldâve been had hunger not made his eyes so fiery and sharp.
âI could never be too tired for you. So please, if you wish to come in, then please, do so.â
He held the door open for you, and you only hesitated a moment before entering. Your heart was going to beat out of your chest as you realized you were in Viktorâs dorm. Everything seemed to swallow you at once. It was a strange mixture of messiness and tidiness. His bed was made, but he had clothes thrown askew near his wardrobe. Papers were scattered and took up every possible space on his desk, but his pencils and pens were neatly put away in a cup on the corner. Books were stacked on various surfaces and all over the floors with random papers poking out, yet the quaint bathroom he had attached was near spotless. A few spare canes were also scattered around randomly, some taller than the others, with a support beam to rest under his arm.
âNot what you imagined?â He stepped around you as he spoke, heading directly to his bedroom. You werenât sure if you were supposed to follow. What was the protocol for finishing what youâd started hours before?
âItâs exactly how I pictured it, actually.â You nodded towards the covered desk. âYour scientific efforts not stopping even once you leave the lab.â
Viktor shrugged. Youâd heard the I want to make the world a better place line enough times that itâd become just a look from him. A do I even need to say it look. He stood in front of a mirror hung on his wall as he undid his tie, finger-combed his hair, and stripped himself of his vest. He looked completely comfortable with having someone in his room with him while he did this and it made a strange jealousy bubble in your stomach. It wouldâve overtaken the nerves had they not been so potent that theyâd soldered you in place.
âWhich entries did you read?â
You dropped your gaze down to his journal. You opened it and flicked through the pages. It felt personal to tell him. Even if they were his personal thoughts.
âThe couch,â you croaked out, voice strained and hoarse, âand the one you managed to write for tonight.â
Viktorâs hands twitched as he folded his tie. He peered your way and narrowed his eyes. It seemed you werenât supposed to read that one. Guilt started to kick in as Viktor contemplated what he was going to say.
âYou read that one, hm?â
You knew he wasnât talking about the couch one.
âI was surprised youâd managed to write one for it already.â You cleared your throat as Viktor undid the top few buttons of his shirt. âI had only intended to read the couch entry, if Iâm honest, but then I noticed the new one and my curiosity got the best of me. Iâm sorry if I overstepped.â
You expected him to frown and berate you for reading the journal after heâd already taken it from you. But, as it seemed, Viktor was determined to continue throwing your expectations through a loop, just as he'd been doing the past few days.
âAnd was I right?â
âWhat?â You breathed the word out, barely able to hold eye contact with Viktor as his hands fell by his side.
âAre you just as eager for me to see how sweet you taste as I am?â
The way he stared you down meant he expected an answer. Your hold on the book tightened until your fingers hurt. Part of you regretted taking the journal. You wouldnât have been subjected to a gaze that rendered you motionless, speechless, and thoughtless. But seeing such fervor in his gold eyes was well worth it. Your cheeks burned hot when you finally spoke.
âI am.â
You felt weightless as Viktor visibly relaxed. How he had any doubt that you wanted him was beyond you. It felt like every part of you was screaming for him to touch you. It seemed impossible for Viktor to not notice that. Your knees nearly gave out when Viktor spoke once more.
âThen come here.â
You, rather embarrassingly, dropped the book. It slipped from your grasp as you processed Viktorâs command. And it took every ounce of control to pry your feet up from the floor and take careful, controlled steps into his bedroom. He stuffed his hands in his pockets when you stopped short, a few feet away, unsure of what he wanted you to do. Were you supposed to kiss? Make this into the romantic tryst you secretly wanted it to be? Or were you just supposed to sit on the edge of his bed, pull your skirt up, and let him approach it like a damn science experiment?
You wished you were back in the lab or the kitchen, where it had happened so naturally. There was no second-guessing or overthinking there. Your heart still felt like it was going to beat out of your chest, sure, but now it was for a solely different reason. You had no idea how to play this. And it seemed Viktor didnât either. Until you remembered his entry from earlier.
I wanted to save it. When I could have her alone, in a space where we could both be vulnerable. When I could savor every second of it. I knew she was interested in coming to my bedroom later in the evening, but after that, I had no idea.
He was just as lost as you were. Heâd taken enough initiative to invite you into his room--both the dorm itself and his literal bedroom--so you could take the next step. Another literal one, as you closed the gap between you, and brought your mouth to his.
Your hands undid the nice combing his had done to his hair and you held him close. He still tasted like coffee, and a bit of something sweet. It made a hint of amused laughter bubble in your throat but you held it back as Viktor reached out to steady himself on your waist. The way he switched between confidence and uncertainty was fascinating. But he matched the hunger of the kiss with a high level of certainty, tilting your head back as you gasped and taking a bit of control back. But his hands still seemed to tremble as they inched their way up over your ribs.
They stilled beneath your breasts, and he broke the kiss as your tongues brushed. Forehead falling and nudging your nose, he peered down at your blouse that felt more and more restricting with each rapid breath. His fingers twitched and you could practically hear his internal debate. So you did the only thing you could think of as desperation took root in your core, you brought your mouth to his ear and begged.
âPlease,â you whined. âTouch me, Vik. Please.â
At first, all Viktor did was close his eyes and sigh. His hands twitched a bit more before he finally brought them from your ribs to your chest, where he undid each button painfully slow. You tried to control your breathing as the cold air pumping through the vents hit your skin. But it was lost as soon as your shirt fell open and Viktor groaned. You didnât have to beg again. As soon as he was done admiring you--which made your breath lodge itself in your throat--he brought his hands to your chest.
It was nothing special, just a burgundy bra that was a tad faded in color, but Viktor looked at you like you were wearing the fanciest lingerie in all of Piltover. He kissed you again. Hungrier. Needier. Guiding you back towards his bed, he undid the back clasp with more ease than youâd expected from his shaking fingers. When you fell back onto the soft mattress at the same time your bra fell from your shoulders, Viktor looked ready to burst into flames. And you were very quickly following.
Another line from his notes popped into your head as he crawled onto the bed, his thin frame managing to pin you on your back. His mouth was back on yours for a second before a hand snaked itself up to your chest.
As Iâve mentioned before, I am not the most astute when it comes to activities such as this.
It was nearly wiped from your mind as he ran his thumb over a hardened nipple. Your mind honed in on that one quick touch as he kissed across your jaw and nipped at your skin. You whined and he repeated it. Circled it, swiped it, pinched and tweaked it. Experimenting. Studying. Memorizing. It drove you absolutely wild. He shifted, kissing down your chest until he was hovering over your chest and peering up at you through his lashes. He brought his mouth down and closed it around your other nipple and that was your undoing. He swirled his tongue in a way that went directly between your legs, making sure to repeat that exact motion in between little grazes of his teeth.
âMay not be astute my ass,â you moaned out as he sucked at the same time he tweaked your other nipple.
âHm?â He hummed against you and it made his entire body vibrate. He nudged your knees apart as he shifted and made sure to press his body weight between your legs. He seemed to know exactly what you were talking about. âI am not.â
âBullshit.â Your hands were in his hair again, holding him against you. It felt too good. Too damn good. Itâd been so long since someone had touched you like this. And it being Viktor? You were sure if he kept this up youâd lose it from this alone. âYouâre fucking great at it.â
âI think,â he murmured against you, âyou might be biased.â
He started to kiss down your stomach and it tightened with anticipation. He paused when he got to the top of your skirt. He frowned as his eyes danced over the article of clothing before he flicked the hook on the side, pulled down the zipper, and tapped your hips. A silent instruction for you to lift them. You did so without question, fighting the feeling of vulnerability as he pulled the skirt down your legs.
âI was contemplating letting you keep it on,â he muttered matter of factly as he dropped it to the floor. âBut I must admit I would prefer to see all of you as soon as possible. I am rather impatient in that regard.â
His eyes met yours as his hands came up to your underwear. For the first time in ages, you managed to match your underwear to your bra. But it didnât seem to matter given one was already on the floor. Still, Viktor paused and scanned the burgundy fabric. His fingers brushed your thighs before he brought them to hover above you. Two curled around the waistband and you didnât need to be told to lift your hips. You were doing it before he even started to pull them down.
He cursed under his breath as he dropped your underwear to the floor. You were sure you could cook an egg on your face with how hot it felt. It certainly didnât help when Viktor slid off the bed and pushed your legs wide open and bit his lip. You could feel how wet you were and all you wanted to do was bury your face into one of his pillows. You couldnât stand his gaze, that observant bastard.
You closed your eyes, only to jerk them open when he ran a finger between your folds before spreading them.
âWere you this...ready earlier?â His breath was warm as he leaned forward, hovering above where you desperately wanted him. âIn the lab and kitchen?â
How could he expect you to answer that? Yet he sat there waiting for a response.
âVik,â you groaned out as he blew on your clit. âHow could I not be when youâre the one touching me?â
He peered up at you, something new lit behind his eyes. He narrowed his eyes slightly and you could see him replaying your last few encounters together. Your legs were starting to shake as his fingers were so close to touching you where you were practically throbbing. You wanted this, you wanted him so badly. You threw your head back against the mattress and groaned. He was going to be the death of you and he hadnât even touched you.
âViktor, please, I canât take it anymore.â You gave him a pleading look. âI need you to touch me.â
The words seemed to kick him back into gear and only a second went by between your words and when his mouth dropped to your cunt. It was so abrupt that you cried out, grabbing onto Viktorâs hair for support as his tongue circled your clit. Your eyes clamped shut and your back arched as you pushed yourself against him, craving more. But Viktor was taking his time. After all, heâd wanted to savor you. And he was going to do so, taking his sweet time.
You reached a hand behind you and grabbed onto his comforter. Your hips moved on their own as Viktor sucked gently on your clit. You could feel him watching you as he switched to slow licks, his shoulders--and fingers--keeping every part of you spread. He said nothing as you ground against his mouth, evening going as far as to hum when you tugged him closer.
And then, when you were mid-breath, lost in your impending orgasm as your abdomen started to tighten, you felt a finger slide into you. Youâd meant to say fuck, or maybe just let out a throat-hurting groan, but all youâd managed to say was his name. And that turned out to be the best option as he slid another finger in and curled them. He was exploring, you could tell, but it all felt good when you were grinding against his mouth.
Until his fingers grazed your sweet spot and an involuntary moan left you. Viktor paused for a brief moment before he repeated the exact motion, sighing when he felt you tighten around his fingers. Before you could blink, his mouth was back on your clit and his fingers were picking up a steady rhythm that was absolute torture. This wasnât supposed to be how first times like this go. Theyâre sloppy, theyâre explorative. Theyâre not Viktor managing to bring you to the edge during his first attempt at oral with you, let alone figuring out exactly how to finger you.
âDonât stop,â you breathed. Practically pleaded. Begged.
Your grip tightened on his hair and his comforter as you felt yourself stretch thin. From your head all the way to the tips of your toes, like an old rubber band ready to snap. You closed your legs around Viktorâs shoulders as much as they would allow as you came. Shattered into a million pieces. Glass on the tile floor of the lab. Every muscle in your body tightened as a strangled groan pushed past your lips and you came over his fingers.
Viktor only stopped when you tugged lightly on his hair and whispered his name. But he was already looking at you when you dared a glance at him. You had a few options here. All the two of you had discussed doing was him...seeing if you were as sweet as he imagined. Heâd done that. Technically, he checked that box the moment he brought his mouth to your cunt. Heâd gone the extra mile by making you cum. The extra, extra mile. So now you could either call it a night, get dressed, and go your separate ways, crawl down onto the floor and give Viktor the same treatment heâd just given you, or tug him onto the bed and hope he wanted you to ride him as much as you wanted to.
The bittersweet urge to ask if this was all he wanted to do stung your chest and the words stopped in your mouth. You should ask them. It was the polite thing to do. But Viktor spoke first.
âEven sweeter,â he said, voice huskier than you couldâve thought possible of him. He smiled as he licked his fingers. A sight that answered your own dilemma.
You grabbed a fistful of his shirt and yanked him onto the bed. He let out a quiet oof as you positioned him to sit against his headboard, tasting yourself on his lips as you kissed him. He gave no protest as you unbuttoned his shirt, grinding yourself against his prominent erection. He looked strained in his pants, and what little muscles he had on his body were all tensed as you threw his shirt aside and shifted to start on his pants.
Viktor grabbed your wrist as you unzipped his zipper and started to pull his pants down his hips. You had to tear your eyes up from the tent in his white boxers. The uncertainty in Viktorâs eyes was like an ice pick pressing against your chest. You were a tad embarrassed as you stared down at Viktorâs legs, remembering whose bed you were in. But the nagging feeling that Viktor was just as embarrassed poked at you.
You lowered yourself down until you were propped up on your elbows. You searched his face as you palmed him through his boxers. Kissed his tip through the thin fabric, eyeing the damp spot that darkened the material. A hand found your shoulder before it traveled up your neck and caressed your cheek. You pulled down the waistband of his boxers and held back the urge to groan at how thick and hard he was.
Your hand closed around his shaft and pumped slowly. Viktor looked like he was in pure bliss from that alone. You smiled as you brought your mouth down and traveled the same line your hand had, careful to lick the tip with just enough pressure to make him mutter a curse. As you closed your mouth around him, hand taking what you couldnât fit, and started to push his pants and boxers down his thighs with your free hand.
âEvery inch of you,â you said as you paused bobbing your head, âis perfect, Viktor.â
He ran his thumb over your cheek, capturing your bottom lip and dragging it down, and closed his eyes as you pumped his shaft. He seemed to melt under your touch. Under your words.
âEvery inch,â you repeated as you pushed his pants down to his knees. That was as far as you could get them when you had your mouth around his cock, and Viktor took the hint and managed to kick them off the rest of the way.
You didnât stop once his pants were off, though, you were enjoying the hissing he was letting out through his teeth too much. His thighs flexed beneath you and you hummed happily. Viktorâs hand was quick to leave your cheek and grab your hair. For a moment you thought he was going to guide you, or even fuck your face, but he pulled you off and held up a trembling hand. He took three deep breaths before he spoke.
âI need a moment, if you wish to continue, otherwiseâŚâ His cheeks burned a red that matched your underwear. âIâm so-â
You stifled his words with your lips, caressing his cheeks just as gently as he had yours moments ago. Viktor sighed and dropped his forehead to yours. An action you could get addicted to. He matched your position, bringing his hands up to your jaw and nipping at your lips.
âNever apologize, not for that,â you murmured, kissing his cheek, chest pressing and dragging along his. You felt Viktorâs abdomen tense, and his head fell back. All he could do was nod, so you kissed his cheek again, and then down his neck, leaving little love bites that wouldâve been wiser not to leave.
âI have a question.â You broke the silence as Viktorâs hands ran up and down your back; you peppered kisses on his clavicle.
âHm?â He took a slow breath, clearly curious what you were going to ask him. You took your time kissing each inch of his collarbone, trying to give Viktor as much time as he needed.
âYouâd mentioned in your notes that sometimes our more...interesting,â you purposefully chose his word and Viktor caught it, laughing quietly beneath you, âinteractions stick with you.â
âThat is not a question, (Y/N).â
âIf youâd let me finish.â You traveled back up his neck. âDid they stick with you when you were here?â
Viktor cocked his head to the side and you could see him figuring out what you meant. His already dark blush traveled down his neck. His cock twitched against you and you already knew the answer. He muttered the quietest perhaps youâd ever heard and a grin tugged at your lips. That was more than enough to drive you wild. You shifted over his lap, reaching down and lining himself up with your entrance. When he didnât ask for pause, and he nodded once more, you sunk down just barely onto his cock.
Your mouth fell open as he stretched you. Viktor sat up and wrapped his arms around you, holding you close as you gingerly took every inch of him. His teeth sunk into your shoulder, the pain mixing with the pleasure, as he bottomed out. His breath tickled your skin as he muttered a strained apology and kissed the indentations in your skin. But you were too distracted to pay it any mind. Viktor stretched and filled you so fucking well that, for a breath, you thought you were dreaming.
âDid you imagine this?â You slowly lifted yourself before coming back down. Confidence bubbled within you. âMe riding you?â
âP-Perhaps.â Viktor kissed your neck, voice quiet. He paused as you started a slow rhythm of riding his cock. âDid you?â
âYes,â you sighed. âBut my fingers didnât do you justice.â
Viktorâs nails dug into you as he groaned and you bounced a little faster, hands finding his shoulders for support. Silence fell between you and the sounds of labored breathing and skin against skin filled his room. He felt so good, perfect, even. It didnât take long to lose yourself; losing rhythm as you bounced hard on his cock, and Viktor dropped a hand between you, rubbing your clit as best as he could as you rode him.
âSo tight,â he groaned. âI donât want to...before you doâŚbut I'm...â
But you werenât hearing him. You were chasing your high as Viktorâs tip slammed into you, tightening the coil that was getting ready to spiral free. You grabbed a fistful of his hair as you fell forward, doing your best to maintain your rhythm as Viktorâs thumb sped up on your clit and you practically combusted. You muffled your cry against the side of his head as your entire body tightened, electricity coursed through you, and you came over his cock. Viktor made up for your stuttering hips, helping you ride out your high, until you felt him stall. He groaned your name as he buried his face in the crook of your neck, and came in you.
You both fell back onto the bed, your legs splaying out over Viktor, foreheads coming to rest against each other. You both were fighting to catch your breath. Viktor sighed as you pulled yourself off of him and nudged his nose with yours. You were honest with your words earlier. Every inch of him was perfect. And you werenât about to let that slip through your fingers.
âLet me spare you the creation and contemplation of a third theory,â you whispered against his lips and he cocked a brow at you. âI like you. A lot. I want to do this, I want this to be more than a one-night thing.â
You hadnât realized how tense Viktor was until his entire body relaxed. He kissed you slow and gentle, tender and determined. He said everything he needed to with the kiss. As do I came across as he caressed your cheek. So badly sounded in how he sighed against your mouth. I want you flickered in his golden gaze as he broke the kiss and skated a hand down his back. He gave you a crooked smile and nodded.
âI take it back. You are allowed to read my notes.â
