Sonic is literally the perfect character he's blue he's spiky he's a snarky asshole he has ADHD he loves nature he has a comical amount of characters who mirror him he's an insane little freak he loves his little brother so so much he can be rainbow and fly sometimes his first meeting with one of his best friends was getting punched so hard he lost a bunch of emeralds he's King Arthur he killed god he can time travel he's an anime character he was a werewolf he loves his friends he can turn into a ball he hates industrialization he goes so fast He was even bisexual

I like the idea of Sonic being just as heroic as he is selfish - cuz the core motivation for half of what he does when in regards to Eggman and the world or whatever is going on at the time is cuz he himself enjoys those adventures, and not because he feels some sort of selfless obligation over his natural abilities to do anything that he does.

This is also just like coming from me thinking about how he handles his friendships, too. He enjoys hanging around his friends for as long as he’s not bored, but I like that the moment he’s not entertained anymore he would probably just go and do something else without trying to pander to anybody else’s feelings. He would see things all the way through if he knew that he had to, but I like the spontaneousness that comes with him and what he ends up doing for his own entertainment, no matter how that ends up coming off to the people around him.
