You know what was so special about House MD? The fact that all the characters on the show were so damaged and so flawed and did so many terrible things but you couldn’t help but root for them. They were the kind of people who’d save lives one day and take them the following one, people who had a death sentence but spent every day of their lives solving puzzles and curing illnesses, people who were both really selfish and insecure. They were people who constantly caused pain but also felt pain everyday. They were the kind of people who’d save a stanger’s life only to find their friend dead in his bedroom. They were all both miserable and brilliant at the same time and in the end you only wished they’d find their happy place.
