outfit design isn't final (we're either gonna give Shiny more clothing or Rocky less clothing, we haven't decided yet) but the fundamental concepts are there! and I'm too excited not to share hehehe

So a good portion of the book I'm reading is about this planet full of hyperintelligent spiders but there's also like this society of mantis shrimp in the ocean. And they don't do anything but it is extremely endearing that every few spider chapters Tchaikovsky is like "hey do you remember the stomatopods??? I didn't forget the stomatopods!!! They're doing well :)"

#i really like the narrative structure #there'll be a chapter about the humans and then a chapter about the spiders #which is good for my attention span #whatever printing I picked up has the pages like ultra dense like line spacing? never heard of her #also the spider chapters are still my favorites but the humans are getting interesting too now towards the end #I like holsten he's kind of a wimp ❤️#I'll probably finish the book this week or the next #and it's a series???
