Alice grins and puts the bags down. “Perfect,” she says. “Help yourself, then. And please don’t judge me for stuffing my face.” She nods to the papers. “Anything interesting?”
Ted reached over, grabbing the first container he could and sighing as the aroma of deliciousness bathed his face. “Heaven” he sighed, before looking at Alice and chuckling bashfully. “Hardly, this is the slush pile-- 90% of this is utter crap, but it’s worth the read through for that ten percent of gold-- every now and then I get lucky.”
