Do your best but maybe not sometimes

I think a lot of millennials feel this way, but I am so lucky that the term "parasocial" wasn't as big in the social consciousness when I was writing this blog as it is now. I think a lot of the way I interacted with the content and fandom early on could be counted as not having healthy boundaries, and so often I've considered just nuking this blog because it's that embarrassing. But I never have, and I don't think I will, for a lot of the same reason I don't just go burning my diary from when I was 10. This part of my life was so incredibly important to me. It was the first time I felt an interest of mine being respected and the way I specifically took in information and thought about things being valued. It was the first time I had a community or even a friend group not being directly tied to the bad situation that had raised me and controlled every aspect in my life at the time. Anyway I think the point is that yeah, I realize how cringe I was, but I was cringe and free, and I really appreciate that now.

Anyway I'm rewatching Seventeen Project for the anniversary bc of course I am

This blog has been dead for a bit which is funny to me. Like. I have changed so much in 10 years, but I feel I can finally admit it. I have ALWAYS said "slick bean to determine life" instead of "slip into the diamond life". And it makes me laugh. Every time.
