I love seeing extended family and they start crying bc I look like my late mother. it makes me feel like all I am is a reminder of her. Especially when that's all you talk about with me.
It's so hard to pull my personality out of the sea of trauma, people pleasing, and masking. I have no clue who I am anymore. What's even the point of existing if I can't find myself in all the mess?
Wishing I knew what everyone close to me truly thought of me, but I know hearing what they think would crush me.
I wish that when I'm at my worst my cries for help weren't just my silent sobs and isolation. I wish I could have some big dramatic reaction that properly displayed my feelings. But most times I'm either ignored or I'm told I'm being dramatic or overly negative. Sorry, it's almost like every day is a struggle for me to continue surviving or something.

If I die by my own hand, let it be known I love you and I'm sorry, your love was enough but my will was not. Let me slumber how I've longed and cry no tears for me, rejoice in my parting from mortal burden, we will be okay.
Feeling like my life is a slow, agonizing crawl toward a goal I will never reach. I am being slowly crushed by a darkness I can never touch. I am terrified to even try to keep moving because I might be crushed. Right now at least I have enough room to keep breathing. But I am tired, so tired. I know eventually my body will give out on me, likely sooner than anyone else expects. Part of me yearns for that time, because the pain will be over.
Having a strong urge to run into the woods until my lungs burn and my body gives out, where I'll find a tree to be my final resting place. I'll lay motionless as the rest of the world continues, watching my body rot and return back to earth, where maybe I'll finally have a use on this planet. The mushrooms and worms will feast on this broken body and the world will keep turning, but now my suffering will be long gone in the wind.
I lose my closest friends whenever I isolate myself and yet I can’t help but shut down and detach from reality at times like this.
Able bodied people don’t understand the privilege of having “wants.”
I’m a disabled person, stuck at home living with my parents and am jobless. As a result, I’m completely dependent on my parents. I also am unable to drive.
“Wants” are a precious commodity.
A regular person with a job? If they want coffee, they could go get themselves coffee. They want to go somewhere? Get something? Even if money is tight, they could give themselves a little treat every now and then.
I have to time my wants. I have to save them. I have strategize them. Being entirely dependent on others to get anything in life (clothing, money for medicine, food, and things considered to be luxuries like games) is guilt and anxiety-inducing, self-worth shattering, soul crushing.
I have someone who used to be a dear friend, trying to tell me that it’s okay to voice my wants even if it means it never comes to fruition.
No. No, it is not okay. One who could get one’s self a little treat whether it be coffee or stickers or a new book by one’s own means, could never understand. One could never understand how sharp and painful the knife is with every rejection. With every reminder about how small you have to make your existence.
Speaking any want is a risk to your very personhood. A want that is realized is precious. I am not trying to live day by day. I am attempting to survive, day by day. But able-bodied people just don’t get it. They can’t get it. And while I’m feeling frustrated and hurt right now, I hope they never do get it. But my god, does it make me feel so unheard and unseen.

i don't think that people really understand how mentally fucking draining it is to live with chronic illness. like, people talk about it a lot, sure. but i feel like it is constantly kind of a shrugged off thing that people don't understand the weight off.
how exhausting it is to have your body not be able to do things, while your brain carries on as if it can.
how exhausting and painful it is to try to do things and not fully be accommodated for your needs.
how exhausting goddamn brain fog is. it gets me every day it feels like and i'm still surprised.
how exhausting and frustrating it is to be ill and to think you're having a good day, but SURPRISE, here's a flare, or a bunch of symptoms, or whatever, and now you're in pain and can't do anything. you can't make the pain stop. you just have to feel it.
how exhausting it is to know that nothing will take the pain away. that you literally just have to live with it. and that people won't get it. they won't understand that you are constantly in pain, all the time, and just have to act like you aren't.
how exhausting it is to be exhausted. the fatigue is awful. it just catches me and i can't do anything. i can't move or speak or anything. i just have to exist in it.
it's so annoying and exhausting to see my body give up and to know that i can't really do anything to stop it or cure it. it's so exhausting. it makes me want to cry constantly. i feel so tired and worn down and angry and depressed.
and yet, i have to continue on, like a normal functioning member of society. i have people look at me like an imposition. i see people talk down on chronically ill or disabled people online all the time and complain about us ruining society or taking away resources or whatever the fuck bullshit.
and it makes me feel so shitty that society perceives my only worth as my physical ability to contribute to a fucked up system.
and yet, we carry on, day after day, in hopes it will get better.
mreow. meow. hey. mreow. hey. hey. mmeow. hey. dude fucking look at me. hey. mmmeow

why is this post completely broken in every way imaginable
Broken notes… deactivated account… removed image….
Finally, we have them all.
In addition: OP’s name is just… gone. No “[insert username]-deactivated[insert a bunch of numbers]” as is the standard for deactivated blogs.
Just the world “deactivated.” Look upon their post, ye mighty, and despair.
It’ll be almost impossible to find this post unless it wanders across your dash.
It also only has 1 note. Truly a broken post
“When the approach is imminent, the tail goes up”

A cat putting its tail straight up like this is a friendly greeting. This is the equivalent of the cat waving excitedly at you as soon as it gets close.
