(Guy who never stops thinking about claudia voice) also despite the fact claudia can only exist in the show as other people view her, with her diaries being the only real voice she has (and they had been edited!) it gets to me that nevertheless she has such a strong presence that any attempts to minimize both the profund way she has changed and moved louis + her attempts at being free from the control lestat and the coven try to exerce on her are ultimately futile. You cannot erase her! She lived and for even a few months she was happy and able to live independently with someone that respected and loved her. She fought hard for that. It's a disservice to pretend that she was just a doll, that it has never been about her, that she was just roof shingle that flew off of their house. At the end of the day everything has always been about her
