I'm 44 and work with people 16 - oldest is 82. This results in me sometimes being treated like I don't know anything about being online (true on some things, so wrong on others.) (Also it's mostly young guys who assume this but another topic for a different time.)

The sheer joy I get from showing someone that I have several 100k+ posts for something I'm doing just because it makes me happy, not to get notes, is so worth it because they are usually trying to actively get a following. Also it baffles them when I tell them this doesn't make me famous/give me anything to monetize. I truly love the anonymity of Tumblr.

I also have several coworkers who support me and give me ideas. I've stitched things they said and they help me decide on stuff for my projects. It's wonderful.

The black cat is called Mörkö (translates into bogey or creature) and the silver one is called Paju (willow). Paju is a distinguished lady and Mörkö is very much not.

The cats live in the estate Fein and Astarion stay at when they are not travelling. The staff named the cats.
