Carn stares at them for a second - then snorts a laugh. "Are you serious? You have your tongue pierced with iron? How were you going to keep fae away with that, lick them?"

They were having other ideas of how Vel might be able to use it, too, but they weren't going to make that suggestion. Not yet, anyway. "I can't believe you have an iron tongue piercing. Vel’s grin goes a little lopsided. Happy. Silly. And a little teasing. “You know, I don’t actually own any other studs for it… but if you wanted to make one that doesn’t hurt you I’m… open to it.”

Vel tenses for a brief moment before relaxing into Carnelian’s hold, and reaches up to play with their hair after a moment of hesitation.

"Oh-" He definitely seems to like this, a low sound like a purr beginning to rumble from his throat, eyelids lowering blissfully as he pushes into Vel's touch. "I mean, yeah I'm a hedonist, but that usually means fucking, not cuddling. Or, like. Other indulgences." He blinks lazily at them.

Vel hums low in their chest. “That doesn’t sound very relaxing.” They shift onto their back so Carn’s head is on their chest.

Carn pouts, though the effect is somewhat diminished by the fact that he's both still purring, and making himself happily comfortable on Vel's chest.
