A Mirage of Madness

You either approve of violence or you don’t, and nothing on earth is more violent or extreme than the meat industry.

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it’s time to pause and reflect.

We are, quite literally, gambling with the future of our planet- for the sake of hamburgers.

To face animal suffering is to face our responsibility in their suffering.

The idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that is wrong in the world.

It almost seems to me that man was not born to be a carnivore.

Animals don’t have a voice, but I do. A loud one. A big fucking mouth. My voice is for them. And I’ll never shut up while they suffer.

The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?

We choose to eat meat and have therefore built slaughter houses for the animals and hospitals for us.

Nothing hurts a good soul and a kind heart more than to live amongst people who can’t understand it.

The animals of the world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than blacks were made for whites, or women for men.

The Gods created certain kinds of beings to replenish our bodies; they are the trees and the plants and the seeds.

The time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look upon the murder of men.
